On the 2nd of April, a beautiful sunny day and a Saturday Taeil asked Jae to go to the supermarket down the neighborhood with him and he agreed on a little walk, especially as he had spent the whole Friday evening finishing a super long essay for Mr. Sacudo. The day was so nice they could go out is sweaters as the sun was warming up their faces.

Taeil crossed the street and took a cart. He had the whole shopping list from his mom so Jae helped him to find all the products. Taeil's video was ready and the release of the MV was scheduled in a week so his parents decided to make a family party.

The boys were at the vegetables stand and Jae was looking for a nice salad when he felt a gaze on him. He looked up expecting one of his fangirls but all his insides turned into ice again when he looked straight into his mother's eyes.

She seemed different, her face got paler and skinnier, she tried to hide her figure under a long gray spring coat.

She took a breath when Taeil noticed her and bowed down, so she forced something between a smile and a wince and nodded.

Jae froze with the salad in his hands and Taeil looked from him to his mom.

"How are you Mrs.?" asked Taeil when no Jae nor his mom moved an inch.

"Ok," she said politely. "How are you boys?"

"I'm working on my solo album, I'm back at school and I got a record deal," said Taeil when she forced a fake smile.

"Congrats," she said.

"And Jae will release a single in July, his first album in early August, he will also pass his exam and go to the Art department in the university I'm sure about it," Taeil spoke gently and Jae's mom became paler.

"Goodbye," she muttered turning around.

Jae felt his heart beating again when she moved out of the shop quickly.

"She hoped to see you, she shops here every weekend," whispered Taeil and Jae knew this information was causing even more pain.

Why couldn't she call or talk to him, or...

Why couldn't he call Taeyong or talk to him?

"Let's finish!" Jae slammed the salad into the cart them moved to the next stand.

He calmed down hours later when he was doing the final recording for 'It's love' during the evening in the studio.

Miss Berry his manager was very happy and he knew Mr. Jacksonville will be proud when he will hear the final version.

Jae melted into the chorus, this words always brought back so many memories, he closed his eyes concentrating on all the beautiful moments he had with Taeyong when he sang - 'You need me as I need a soulmate.'

He woke up like from a trance in the middle of the song looking through the glass towards the crew behind it, and then he met these dark eyes he was dreaming about. His butterflies awakened, he nearly messed up the next line. Taeyong was standing next to his manager and watching him with burning eyes and it was extremely hard for Jae to finish the song.

"Ok come here and listen," said the producer when he did.

He shivered, the sweat drops were rolling down his spine when he pushed the door walking into the small room.

"So you used my song," said Taeyong smiling.

"I thought it's fof me," said Jae avoiding his eyes.

"Yes, yes, sure, all yours," Taeyong rubbed his hair.

He was nervous.

"Listen Jae I wanted to..." he stopped. "To congratulate you on the debut, and the song, it turned out great," Taeyong grabbed his hand and shook it causing Jae to nearly jump out of his skin.

"Thanks," he muttered.

"So, keep the good work up, I'll go now," Taeyong smiled awkwardly.

He walked to the door then disappeared behind it leaving Jae so broken.

Some fans were in the street behind the company building, they ran to Jae when he was walking to the bus stop.

"Jae can we have a selfie?" asked a girl.

"Sufe," Jae stopped and posed for them he even managed to smile.

It was dark already and he wanted to go to Taeil as quick as possible to take a nap, meeting his mom and Taeyong on the same day was way too much.

"Aren't you sad?" asked the same girl when he started to give out quick signatures.

"Why?" he asked.

"Because you like Taeyong and he will be gone for so long," said another girl and Jae dropped the pen on the pavement.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Don't you know? Taeyong is going on a world tour with his music for half a year starting in May," said the girl and Jae felt his stomach dived way below the pavement and the company dungeons.

"What?" he asked.

Was Taeyong about to say it but panicked when he came. Jae felt cold sweat drops on his body.

"I must go..." he said running away from the stunned fans feeling his world is crushing into pieces again.

The rain was heavy when Jae stopped crying realizing it he was wet to his underwear and the pavement he was sitting on was cold.

"Mr. Jaehyun, please go or I'll be forced to call the police," the older security guard who worked in the penthouse came to him for the tenth time, but Jae never reacted.

The shower washed over the city and over him, the endless amounts of water that were hitting his face mixed with his tears.

"Mr. Jae, I'll be forced to call the police," repeated the man.

A car stopped in front of the building, the lights blended Jae's eyes.
