79. Ask Yuta

"He did what?" Doyoung was pale when they were sitting on the lawn under a huge tree watching the girl's school court. Lauren was doing some acrobatic flips while Taeil was pretending she wasn't there at all when he was studying for literature and drama.

Jae was so sick he haven't eaten anything tody so his stomach was growling unpleasantly but he was trying to ignore it.

"He's a stupid as Yuta," said Doyoung when the silence continued.

Jae knew this statement hasn't helped at all.

But then he focused on Doyoung's words - Yuta right? Yuta probably knew what's going on in Taeyong's life, but Yuta would rather use the situation to tease him and tell him lies. He might tell the truth to Lauren though so Jae focused on the girl.

Right after lessons he called Lauren so in the early afternoon they could met up in the cafe. There he explained everything that has happened since the date. The girl's face was red from anger when he finished.

"Is he insane?" she shouted.

"I guess," Jae shrugged.

"How can he treat you like this it's even worse than how Yuta is treating me," she clenched her fists.

Jae knew she was angry because she had spent a year without her boyfriend and he was only a little more cooperative than Taeyong.

"Whefe's Yuta now?" asked Jae.

"Oh he's touring through China," said Lauren. "I'll call him today and get out as much as possible," she assured.

So Jae went back home with nothing to do but waiting. He wasn't too surprised when the moment he reached the house he found Doyoung sitting on Taeil's doormat as Doyoung had decided to push Jae through the exams whatever the costs may be, he also had forced him to fill out all the papers for the university and had escorted him there with Taeil, so Jae had an application in the music department and just needed to do great in the final exams.

It was a difficult time for Jae, with Taeyong gone and all he had suffered through in the past months, so the exams were the last thing on his mind but Taeil talked to him seriously and told him Taeyong isn't worth to fail the final exams and repeat senior year or not reach the right grades to get into university, so Jae kind of agreed with it.

He did his best every afternoon studying with Doyoung who was questioning him so strictly Jae guessed even Mr. Sacudo wouldn't come up with worse questions.

He was spending each evening with Taeil who was also revising in the bedroom so Jae was filled with the right knowledge without willing to.

Lauren called him that evening, she was upset, she told him Yuta was very secretive and told her Taeyong's life is not her business and she's a spy for 'Fat F' so he won't help her.

Jae was so furious he was slamming the pillows around the bedroom till he broke the model plane Taeil had made in primary school with his father. Taeil was mad but tried to stay calm, he said it's nothing but Jae saw his red face when he was trying o fix the plane before placing it back on the shelf above his desk.

Jae was mad too, Taeil was the best person in his life so he hated to hurt him.

The month went on quickly, the exams drew nearer and Jae was learning more than ever, he discovered the tiredness and concentration had helped him to not to think about Taeyong, especially after the misfortune drunk call in the middle of the night since which his boyfriend was unreachable, not that Jae would try to call him after but there was no message from Taeyong or any sign of interest. So all Jae had were pictures from fans. But when the paparazzi spotted Taeyong leaving a club a 6 a.m. Jae was fed up with watching the news.

He rather went with Taeil to all the programs where Taeil performed his first single and becoming more and more popular. Jae met Mr. Jacksonville a few times, the man had advised him to get a proper rest and do well in his exams before the whole madness will start in July after the official debut.

It was a lazy Thursday as the teachers weren't giving them homework anymore so they could focus on exams so the boys were lying on stage in the assembly hall while Mis Hillary went out for whatever reasons living them alone. Ten was finishing a drawing for a play the juniors were preparing while Mark, who came to visit, was telling him funny jokes and painting a horrible gnome with a huge beard.

Taeil was playing piano to relax while Kun was complaining that the sounds are distracting him during his revisions.

Hansol was whispering to Johnny about all his latest girlfriends and one night stands, eleven this week, while Doyoung was sending them killer glances from over his math book.

Jae was lying on his belly on the wood of the stage listening to Taeil playing while Sicheng was jumping around with a pink fan in his hand like a little princess singing something only he could understand.

The door crackled and Jae turned around expecting to see Miss Hillary but was shocked to spot Lauren. The girl ran straight to him and Doyoung.

She stretched her hand out to the redhead and gave him a bigger envelope he thanked for.

"What's this?" asked Jae sitting up.

"Nothing special," Doyoung hid the envelope under his book and muttered 'Thank you' to Lauren while the girl sat next to Jae.

She seemed happy and Jae wondered if Yuta had finally broken.

"Listen I found a way it might work," she lowered her voice.

"How?" Jae felt a cold shiver.

"Here," she slid two colorful papers towards him and Jae grabbed them reading through realizing it were vip tickets for the World Tour in Beijing.

"What's with this?" he asked.

"This is a ticket for the World Tour in China," said Lauren smiling.

"Yes I see," said Jae.

"Oh you'll go there and talk to him," she said.

"Me, talk to Yuta, as if he will tell me anything but lies," hissed Jae.

"Maybe he won't talk to you, but he will definitely talk to him," Lauren smiled looking through the room towards Sicheng.
