Feeling cold, I clung to Ed's warm arm as we exited the memory filled high school. I had no clue whatsoever as to where we were going. The night was gloomy and icy making my body shiver and my spine tingle.

"You're stone cold." Ed felt my frozen arm as it transfered an icy feeling into his finger tips. I could feel the gentleness of his hand as it made contact with my skin. "Put this on."

Ed handed me his cosy leather jacket and I willingly embraced its warmness.

"Thanks." I smiled gratefully. His jacket was too big for me so the sleeves dangled down, making my hands no longer visable. "I look like a hobbit who's been given a giants coat." I stated.

"Nah, more like an obese sumo wrestler who's just eaten 7 burgers." he joked.

"Charming." I sarcastically grinned.

"Just kidding. Anyway I just happen to love hobbits in giants coats so you're fine with me." he smiled sweetly.

"Phew!" I acted. "Wouldn't want to disappoint Mr. Weirdo."

"Obese sumo wrestler or not, you could never disappoint me."

Was that a compliment? I wasn't too sure. It was nice talking to Ed when we were mocking each other. It's more... normal.

"So where are we going then?" I quizzed eager to know our next destination. We ascended up the road Ed and I had gone through so many times before.

"You'll see. Just be patient."

"Well there is somewhere I want to show you first." I announced to Ed's surprise.

"And where exactly would that be then?" Ed asked confused.

"You'll see. Just he patient." I repeated Ed's choice of words. Let's see how he feels not knowing where he is going.

Ed looked at me and gave a light laugh. "I've tought you so well."

"Can you see that gate over there?" I asked him.

He squinted his eyes.

"Yeah." he replied. "Wow."

Unknowingly, Ed grabbed my hand catching me by surprise and raced towards the gate.

"In loving memory of Jake Allard. A boy we won't forget..." Ed read aloud what was written on a little plaque.

Underneath was a picture of Jake with flowers trailing on the outsides of the picture. There were little pieces of paper with messages on them for Jake, scattered around the photo.

"Did you do this?" Ed asked me.

"Yeah, well Georgia helped too. You remember her?"

"Yeah... I can't believe you did that for Jake. You're amazing you know." Ed breathed out.

"I know I am." I modestly smirked. "I did it more for Georgia than for him. She had to see Dr. Shahzad, the school therapist, and she said it would help her let go."

"Oh..." Ed didn't know what to say.

"Why don't you write a message?" I decided to ask.

"I can do better than that. I have a song." Ed reached into his pocket and took a paper pad out. He ripped out a page and stuck it with the rest of the messages.
