Rosaline and Sirenia were tired. And by tired, they didn't just mean tired. They meant exhausted.

The day after an event was always a drag, but now it had been 5 days and the girls were still fighting through the day, fueled only by insane amounts of coffee and the sugar in Sirenia's candy bars.

They had left most of the barn care to Jared and Sam today, opting instead to to be desk jockeys for the day and answer all their ignored emails and missed calls. Although it wasn't by any means their favorite thing, the two sisters were thankful to have a 'day off' of sorts to hopefully recover and feel back to normal tomorrow.

They were currently sitting at their set up to face each other, answering emails in comfortable silence aside from the steady thrumming of music playing in the background. Their office was rarely used therefore sparsely decorated- two dark wood desks facing each other with Macs sitting on them, dark red walls, a few dark bookshelves overflowing with books and some photos of the sisters and their horses. Nothing special considering they only used this room to answer emails and for the occasional meeting with a new student, interested buyer or someone else of the sort.

It was situated at the front of the house, set up so all you'd have to do was walk up the porch and you could walk right into their office through the foyer. They had another much more public office down in the barn that constantly had people going in and out, but this one was much more quiet and private.

And considering they'd recently been forgetting how many emails they received on a daily basis and hadn't checked them in weeks, it looked like they were going to be sitting in their quiet office for quite a long time.

"Do we need shavings?" Sirenia asked, looking to Rosaline without lifting her head. A pen hovered over her pad of paper, ready to jot something deemed important enough down for later.

Thinking for a moment, Rosaline nodded. "Probably, but it depends. We still thinking of going to auction tomorrow to look at some more school horses?"

Sirenia nodded. "Yeah, I planned for us to. We haven't been up in a while and could use some more school horses since Abigail is going to be selling soon and the others deserve a bit of time off. Can Sam watch the barn while we're gone?"

"Yeah, she and Jared can hold down the fort while we're gone. I asked them earlier today." Rosaline answered, glancing at her computer screen before back to Sirenia. "We should have Jared go get shavings- the usual amount. He can unload them tonight or tomorrow morning depending on how he feels."

Sirenia jotted it down before looking back to Rosaline expectantly. "Feed?"

Rosaline shook her head. "No, we're good on Triple Crown and sweet feed. We'll need more hay extender soon but as only Serafina's on it we'll be good for another couple weeks."

"Okay, and we need to schedule the farrier too." Sirenia reminded, writing that down too. "What else? Who else do we need to call?"

Unable to resist, Rosaline's lips curled into a stupid smile. "Ghostbusters!"

Rolling her eyes, Sirenia tossed her pen at her sister lazily. "Shut it. Who else do we need to call- besides Ghostbusters?"

"Hmm..." Rosaline thought, touching a finger to her chin as she went through names in her head. "The farrier, the vet for Trooper, the acupuncturist for Trooper and the others..."

"You make it sound like Trooper's the only horse being seen by Dr. Jim!" Sirenia laughed, writing down more things to do in her notes. "Who else is up for him? Trooper, Diablo, Nym and Whisper?"
