Note (to anyone that isn't April that may read this):
A. I don't care whether the movie I said they're going to see was in theaters in Spring. Deal with it.
B. The movie is not mine.
C. Mention of past abuse at the end of this chapter. Warning you now.

They had indeed nearly missed the beginning of the movie, resulting in Sirenia once again sending Josh a dirty look as they sat down. She'd calmed down quickly though, stealing some of the cheese from Josh's nachos once she'd finished her own only minutes later.
Ricky and Rosaline were sitting on the other side of Sirenia, her head getting closer and closer to his shoulder after he'd wrapped his arm around her. He had done so slowly, making sure she was still comfortable with him putting an arm around her. She had been okay with it, of course, and had eventually succumbed and put her head on his shoulder. Ricky had smiled at that, sending Josh a smug look as he watched the other man try and put his arm around Sirenia without her noticing.
But eventually, by the end of the movie (Suicide Squad), Sirenia did in fact have her head resting on Josh's shoulder. And for that he felt quite accomplished.
They'd walked out of the movie as the credits were rolling, preferring to leave in the darkness before everyone else got up just in case someone were to recognize Ricky or Bals. They were in Scranton, after all, meaning there were sure to be Motionless fans around that could notice them. The guys wanted to do everything they could to keep from getting noticed tonight- including rushing to and from the theater.
They'd all spoke animatedly about the movie as they left, discussing their likes and dislikes about how the actors and writers had portrayed different characters and dynamics. Neither Sirenia or Rosaline liked the new 'ganster' portrayal of The Joker, leaving both of them unsatisfied. Even despite Jared Leto's great acting they had a strong dislike for the character's part in the movie as a whole.
They were happy with the way they'd done Harley Quinn, though- or, well, aside from her new costume. It was hot and all, leading the guys (and girls) to check out her ass quite a few times but Rosaline was very set on disliking her new costume. Especially the pink and blue hair. Damn, she had her hair dyed red and black for a fucking reason and then the movie had to go and change it to blue and pink. She definitely was not going to dye her hair pink.
And now they were walking into their restaurant of choice, IHOP, and silently hoping it wouldn't be crowded. And luckily it seemed they were the only ones in the whole restaurant.
They were lead to a booth, Ricky and Rosaline taking one side as Josh and Sirenia took the other. After ordering their drinks (Sirenia lemonade, Rosaline coffee, Ricky water and Josh orange juice), they settled into yet another conversation- this time about horses, no surprise.
"So how long have you two actually been riding for?" Josh asked, looking to Sirenia expectantly.
She looked thoughtful, glancing down at her fingers as she counted. "Well, we started working at Joe's when we were 10 and 11, I think Ro got to sit on one of his horses that day she had to go to work herself because I was sick but I had my first lesson before she did."
"And you've been riding ever since?" He confirmed, earning a nod from Sirenia. "Cool. Did your parents pay for your lessons or?"
Rosaline looked down at her lap, remembering in that moment how they'd never told any of the guys about their parents not being... in the picture. "Uh, no. We got them in return for working there so much along with some money."
