Note #2: yOU KNOW WHAT? ROLEX IS IN JULY. FUCKIN I DON'T CARE WHEN IT IS IRL, THIS IS MY BOOK SO ITS IN JULY. TOO BAD. Sorry I'm mad at myself for not knowing when it was beforehand 😂

Ricky liked Warped Tour. Believe me- he really did. He just didn't like being away from Rosaline this long. Especially not after the... moment they had just before he'd left.

He could still remember it perfectly despite having been just a little over a month ago.

He had said 'the L word' on a whim, unsure as to how Rosaline would react. He hadn't said it beforehand in fear of scaring her, but he knew then had been a good time to say it. It had been right before they left, sure, but he was sure he loved her. And he had wanted her to know that in hopes of keeping them from drifting away while he was on tour.

And it had worked.

Despite being shocked, Rosaline had immediately responded with an echo of the phrase and they'd kissed- again. And then Rosaline had said it again, kissing him one final time before he had gotten back in the car to head to the airport with the guys.

Now they were about a month into Warped tour and going strong. Ricky and Rosaline FaceTimed almost every night and texted a bunch throughout most days. Josh and Sirenia were doing well, too. Josh made sure to complain to the others all the time about missing his girlfriend (to which the others reminded him that they missed their girlfriends too) but other then his whining things were good.

The shows were great. They'd had a bunch of really good crowds so far and met a lot of cool fans at their M&Gs- it all made Ricky wonder whether they'd ever met Sirenia or Rosaline at one before. Rosaline had never mentioned it, but considering Chris had called out the girls before he wasn't sure if it was possible or not.

He'd only seen one picture of Rosaline when she was younger- only about 15 or so. She didn't look much different then than she did now- the only difference was now she looked profoundly older. Other then that it was like she hadn't aged. Sirenia was much the same- both of them just looked older. No real differences in appearance or anything of that sort.

But yet Ricky hand't recognized either of them when he met them at the horse show months ago. He'd felt a bit of a nagging feeling the he'd seen them somewhere before, but never recognized them. Did that mean they'd never been to a meet and greet? Ricky found that hard to believe.

Regardless, it didn't matter much now. Now he was dating Rosaline and whether he'd met her before or not didn't matter. What mattered now was making sure they stayed together.

And so far that had been easier then he thought- even with being on tour. He wasn't sure if he'd ever dated someone easier to keep in touch with then Rosaline. It didn't ever feel like a hassle or a burden- instead it just felt natural. Almost as easy as if she were right there next to him.

Josh, on the other hand, struggled a bit more. He wasn't quite as much of an externally 'touchy' guy despite having a big heart and being super loving, meaning he'd sometimes forget about things like needing to call Sirenia every night. Whereas Ricky saw the psychology behind needing to call along with wanting to talk to his girlfriend, Josh was more laid back about it. He was content to go a day or two without talking to Sirenia if he was busy or just had other things on his mind.

At least that's how Ricky saw it from his perspective.

But did Sirenia mind? Ricky wasn't sure. He'd reached out on a limb and texted her to ask and received a fairly bland response.
