Note: wheee I'm going crazy
-
Having resigned themselves to the fact they both needed some time off, the girls decided to call up Sam and the rest of their holiday workers and have them cover the barn for the next few days. Neither were really capable of working or riding at that point in time, only further proving to them that taking some time to rest was a good idea.
Sirenia had, with great reluctance, asked Jared to ride Diablo for her. All her other horses were alright to get a few days off, but if taken out of daily work Diablo would have freaked out. He was already crazy enough as it is; she didn't need him throwing her the moment she got back on after a dislocated shoulder.
Rosaline had momentarily put both Draco and Riddle's training to the side, knowing it would be both too dangerous and too painful to ride. Her (probably broken) ribs were killing her to even breathe, much less ride. She was sure she'd have fallen off from the pain as even she wasn't that tough. She'd put all her ponies (horses) out to grass for a few days, letting them enjoy the warm summer weather that had finally come around.
The guys took advantage of these days off, of course. How could they not? It was, like, 5-7 whole days of the girls not actually having anything to do! That was unheard of. And because of that they were very, very excited for these days off. And due to their excitement they'd planned a few things. Josh had even planned out a date for him and Sirenia! Well, so had Ricky, but his wasn't nearly as well planned out.
Ricky's date with Rosaline was just letting her play his acoustic guitar, something she'd always wanted to do, and teaching her how to play. Of course she was injured so she'd have a bit of a hard time, which was exactly why Ricky was looking forward to it- just another excuse to put his arms around her to help. Or to just play to her. Serenading her sounded like a good idea.
Josh, on the other hand, had planned out quite a date. Nothing extra fancy, but something that he knew she'd love. And he'd even had Rosaline's help planning it! Not that he'd ever admit to that if asked, of course. That would be embarrassing.
And his plan was good. Like, really good. So good that Rosaline had been happy to help him plan it- and give her blessing.
NO, he was not proposing. Jesus Christ. Talk about too fucking early. They hadn't even... er... well... you get the point. It was too early to be thinking about things like that.
But now their date was only 20 minutes away from starting and Rosaline was hurrying her sister to finish getting ready.
"HURRY UP!" Rosaline groaned, prodding her sister in the ribs. "He's gonna be here in, like, 17 minutes!"
Sirenia sent her sister a glare. "Stop poking me then and let me get ready, woman!"
"Well I wouldn't have to poke you if you'd hurry the fuck up!" Rosaline defended, continuing to poke her sister until she slapped her hand away. "Hey! Abuse!"
"You started it!" Sirenia whined, pulling the corset top she was wearing closed. "Can you tie me?"
Rosaline smirked. "How risqué of you to wear, sister."
The older girl rolled her eyes as Rosaline pulled the ribbons tighter and started to tie them. "I've had this top, like, 4 years! And I've worn it plenty of places that weren't dates."
"I'm just giving you a hard time, Siri. Don't take my jokes so seriously just because you're stressed about your date!"
"I am not stressing about my date!" Sirenia responded, her tone of voice only getting higher pitched and earning a giggle from her sister. "Okay- maybe just a little bit. Only because you two keep talking about it!"
