Ghost's plan wasn't actually that bad. It was quite a good plan, really, the guys had just decided not to follow it.
He had spoken of going to Jared and each picking out something horse related to get the girls. Jared was their mutual friend that would know what they want/need, of course, and then Ghost and the others would know they'd gotten the right thing.
It would have been 'perfect', in Ghost's words. 'A perfect way to fix your fuck up', as he'd said. And it was true- it would have been a very thoughtful and kind way to fix the men's intervention-scheme-gone-wrong that had ultimately caused Sirenia to collapse and Rosaline to send them such toxic glares and words laced with venom. They weren't sure if they'd ever seen such an anxious, quiet woman so angry in their entire lives.
Ricky had already rubbed in their faces how he made up to them, of course. He'd embellished a bit, saying Rosaline had hugged him and thanked him kindly for not being as thoughtless as the others, but it had all been worth it when he'd seen how angry Vinny looked. Ricky was ecstatic- the kid needed to chill out and stop being such a horny bastard. Hopefully Ricky's little white lie would jumpstart that process a bit.
Obviously not, as Ricky was about to find out. But that realization could wait a little while longer; first the guys were going to embarrass themselves yet again.
And Ghost was going to let them. As was Ricky.
Hell, Ricky found their plan funny. Hilarious even. The sheer stupidity of it was enough to make him fall over laughing. Even Ghost, who was still a bit pissed about the intervention, had cracked a smirk when the others filled him in. Both he and Ricky were just along for the ride yet again.
The others were quite proud of their plan, too. None of them balked as Balz drove to pick up what they'd need for the plan to work out, planning to meet the others at Sirenia and Rosaline's house in about an hour.
"This is going to work," Balz had told Ricky before he left, looking entirely too sure of himself. "And you're going to feel like such a dick for ever doubting us."
Ricky had just laughed and nodded, wondering just how sure of himself Balz would be once the girls saw their wonderful 'plan'.

Rosaline smiled down at her phone, for once happy to be receiving a text from someone that wasn't Sirenia or Jared.
'You'd never believe what the guys are doing right now. They don't know I'm telling you, but that 'plan' of theirs is happening today.' Ricky's text read, only making Rosaline even more curious as to what was going to happen. What were they planning? Who knew with them.
Sirenia, who still hadn't stopped teasing her sister about her 'moment' with Ricky from a few days ago, looked to her sister questioningly. "Who are you smiling about? A certain rhythm guitarist from our favorite band?" She teased, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.
Rosaline blushed. "Maybe, but that's not the point. The point is the guys are plotting something."
"Plotting? That sounds like it would take more brain cells than they all have to rub together considering how badly it went last time." Sirenia pointed out, glancing down at her feet awkwardly. "What did Ricky say? Anything about the plan?"
She shook her head. "Only that it's stupid and happening today."
Sirenia's eyebrows went up. "Today? When today?"
Rosaline shrugged. "No idea. He didn't say."
"Well ask him!" Sirenia told her, waving her arms. "We need to know when to expect those idiots and their 'surprise'!"
