Josh jumped at the sight of Ghost, his eyes widening when he saw how angry the bassist looked. "Oh fuck."
"That's right- you better be fucking worried!" Ghost snapped, walking over to the keyboard player and glaring at him harshly. "I'm prepared to skin you alive for causing this whole fucking ordeal. Give me one reason not to."
Vinny poked his head out from behind Josh. "Uh- because we have a show tomorrow?"
"SHUT UP!" Ghost groaned, looking at Vinny murderously. "That's not a legitimate reason- one of you assholes can play the fucking keyboard too!"
Josh didn't need to be told what this was about. He wasn't stupid- or at least he didn't see himself as stupid. He knew Ghost had probably talked to one (or both) of the girls and that had lead to him knowing the full extent of Josh's stupidity.
Okay- so maybe Josh was a little stupid. He could admit to that.
"You're a fucking idiot! What would ever possess you to just not fucking talk to your girlfriend for so long? And to ignore her sister too? What did you expect to happen?"
He blinked. "W-well, I didn't expect this to happen..."
"Of course not, because you're a fucking idiot!" Ghost snapped, running a hand through his hair and pulling at it frustratedly. "Now you have a sad, scared girlfriend, a fucking PISSED OFF GHOST and a very distrusting friend!"
Josh wasn't sure how to respond. Hearing (and seeing) Ghost so angry was something he'd never witnessed before- and hoped to never see again. How was someone he was used to seeing so calm so... angry? He knew what he'd done had been fucked up, but he hadn't expected Ghost to get quite so angry over it.
Ricky looked over at Josh from where he was sitting opposite to them. "You really did fuck up- I hope you know that."
"Just keep laying it on me, why don't you?" Josh groaned, resting his head in his hands. "I fucked up- I get it. But I didn't think it was that bad!"
"Well now you know it is in fact 'that bad'." Ghost retorted, still looking at Josh angrily. "It's unacceptable to not only not contact Sirenia but to also ignore her own sister's phone calls and texts. You not only scared your girlfriend to bits but probably lost a good bit of Rosaline's trust in you- and we all know that isn't easy to get back."
Ricky nodded. "It's hard to gain in the first place- earning back Rosie's trust is going to be a battle. And unless you earn back her trust you may as well kiss Sirenia goodbye."
Josh knew they were right no matter how scary it sounded. He knew firsthand how close the sisters were and that if Rosaline didn't trust Josh that meant Sirenia wouldn't either. When it came to things like that it was almost like they were one human being split in two- just two halves of a whole instead of two wholes together.
And the idea of having to earn Rosaline's trust again did scare him.
He'd learned fairly quickly that the girl was very distrusting in the first place, which had made getting her to trust him and the others at least a little bit challenging. And that was being sarcastic. In truth getting either girl to trust them had been very hard- and he could only imagine that regaining their trust would be even harder.
"Did you talk to them?" Josh asked, earning a nod from Ghost. "W-what did they say?"
He shrugged, his shoulders still tense with anger. "That Sirenia was really fucking scared you were cheating on her."
