girl's night/day

We were now sprawled up in Clarr's bed as snug as a bug in the rug. Too lazy to do anything, we were talking about good ole days when we used to hang out with Sam and well Nate sometimes obviously.

I really wonder why Nate has changed so much. I mean I like the old one better. Sweet and always smiley. Not cocky and smirky. I never saw him smile after he moved in. All I see him do is smirk and smooche whores.

We were too busy in our own world that we dint realise someone broke into the house until Del came in saying "what if someone attempts a murder on both of you?"

"Are you not in your sense or something? Dint you hear us come in?" Ann asked.

"Can't you see? They are in perfect senses,just not this world." Aqueela said in a bored tone.

To say that they startled us would be an understatement. But it dint surprise us how they came in. It's the squad protocol. Del has the extra keys just in case of emergency. So I dint bother replying them instead said.

"Heya ladies! Sup? What do we owe your gracious presence for?"

"Really Ness? What about a girl's night? I clearly remember someone saying that." She looked at me in disbelief when I am the one that should look at her that way.

"Who freaking comes for a night stay in the afternoon?!" I said.

"Wait, I am not aware of it, but cool. I will make something to eat then."Clarr said and left to the kitchen.

"We are anyway gonna sleep at your place tonight, and dibt have any other work to do after school , soooo...."Ann trailed of sheepishly only for Aqueela and me to roll our eyes and Del to chuckle.

"Okay girls! Main target tonight is?" Del hushly whispered.

"Clarr...da!" Ann said.

And we all waited for Clarr to come back with devious grins on our faces.
We decided to watch some horror movies tonight. Ann got some booze (perks of having an apartment) and Del went to help Clarr with the food.

Aqueela and me were talking about how we should belong to another planet. Clarr finally got some hot Mac n cheese and lasagna for us to devour.

"Okay chickas, coming straight to the point. Why on earth are you guys smiling so creepily? It's scaring me." Clarr asked very cautiously.

"Oh honey, just tell us what's going on between Sam and you before we make you spill." Del said way too sweetly.

So this is how we sat all afternoon well, evening too , talking guys and stuff. So Clarr and Sam are not a thing yet but she forgave him.

"Let's see if I want to get into a relationship with that douche after he agrees that female population is superior no matter what." Clarr said smiling slyly causing us to laugh.

And then we told the rest of the squad about our convo with dad and well...Mr Williams too. We edited the video and put it on college page to teach him a lesson.

It was getting dark and we decided it's time to open our booze and order food. Everyone took Chinese except me. I just ordered pizza and we started watching the movie.

"Don't freaking get into that ally you moron! Who does that?!"

"Oh god, please don't kill her please don't kill her..."

We were watching the movie while shouting along with the characters and it suddenly got eerely silent. I heard some sounds coming from the kitchen behind us but I thought I was getting paranoid.

"Guys do you hear that?" Ann asked hushly.

All of us focused on the sound but we couldn't hear any, so we just thought we were getting paranoid and maybe it is also because of the alcohol.

The table lamp started flickering, gaining our attention and I could literally feel my heart beat in my ears.

"Girls, honestly I am very grateful I've ever known you, you guys are my family. Telling you incase we all die tonight." Del said dramatically.

But we were all kinda scared. Cuz the flickering seemed too real.

Cuz for one, no one could have broken into the house.

Two,even if this is someone doing it, there is no way we couldn't see them cuz the light switch is right beside me.

And three, I really think there is someone behind the sofa but I have no guts to turn around.

So I just hold on to Aqueela's and Clarr's hand on either side of me and close my eyes.

"Why are you closing your eyes?"

"I think I feel someone behind me."

And at the moment everyone suddenly saw and gasped.
