"Never." He said making my heart skip a beat. Isn't it weird? I was just feeling like crap and now I feel ecstasic? I mean, how can one person bring these many variations in me?

But the stupid but practical side of me kicked in.

"But you already left me once. I don't want my heart broken twice." I said timidly.

He just looked at me with a weird expression that I couldn't understand. He slowly leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"I never left you Nessa. You are very important to me. I know Ive been a jerk lately. I don't expect you to forgive me. But please can you give me a chance? Let's start over?" He asked, his expression pleading.

But what would we start over as? Friends? Hell no! But what could I say? The thought of him being just a friend brought a weird ache in my heart. It's now or never. No matter what. I have decided to put my pride at bay and sort this out.

"Look Nathaniel. I don't know what 'starting over' means to you. I have feelings for you. Feeling that I wouldn't expect you to understand."

"I am human too you know? I have emotions too. "He said with the same weird expression.

"Look. It's not any normal stupid come and go crush-kinda feelings okay?" I tried telling him.

He din't say anything for a long time and just kept staring at me blankly. It made me very uncomfortable so I started squirming under his intense gaze. I opened my mouth to say but he cut me.

"Your favourite color is blue." He stated. What does that have to do with the situation here? I was about to question when he continued.

"Sixth grade. On your birthday, you came skipping happily holding the box of my favourite cookies , just for me wearing your blue princess dress.I was the one to give you a gift on your birthday, but you were the one to bring me cookies instead.

I thought I should get something for special people in my life on my special day.

You said blushing. That is the day you made me feel special. People often treated me like Sam's younger brother. The shy and introverted geek. You were the one who never treated me like a nobody. You were the one with me being a geek about stuff you don't even like. Just to talk to me." He said with a smile. Which got an embarrassing blush on my cheeks.

He traced his thumb on my cheek and I closed my eyes in content.

"You did my math homework when I was sick and forgot to do yours. You never told that to anyone and gladly took the punishment. When I asked you why? All you said was I know how good impression teachers have on you. They already think I am naughty anyway. Why ruin your reputation when mine is already kinda bad? That got me baffled. I thought you were insane." I dint know what to do. I couldn't look him in the eye. I dint really think he'd remember all of this.

"And remember the other time when Susan came to ask me on a date, you spilt cranberry juice on her Frock and shooed her off even before she could approach me? You tried telling her I am gay? And also that I hate her?" He asked me now smirking.

GOD! Kill me now......

"You knew it?! But how? I mean she couldnt make it to you!."I asked shocked and embarrassed.

"I met Susan the other day after we came back from the beach. But why would you do that Ness?" He asked softly.

Is he blind? Couldn't he make it already? Why is he so thick?!

"Ugh! Why are you so DUMB? It's because I LO"..before I could complete my sentence he kissed me.

His soft lips moved slowly with mine. It was a sweet and innocent kiss. He pulled away after sometime and rested his forehead on mine.

"I love you." He whispered making me smile. I felt so giddy right now. Everything felt so right. Am I dreaming?

"But that is what I was gonna say!" I said still smiling.

"I wanted to tell you first. I am the awesome one after all." He said smirking and his eyes were shining with happiness.

"Then why did you kiss Katie in the first place?"

"I thought you'd like bad boys better cuz I really heard you became a party animal these years. " He said sounding guilty.

"That's lame and totally stereotypical." I said bluntly but couldn't help the smile on my face. Nathaniel freaking Williams loves me back! The HOT Nathaniel loves me. MY Nate is back.

I couldn't take the emotion anymore and grabbed him for another kiss.

"Woah! And you said you've never kissed before." He said playfully lifting me up.

"Let's have some fun toniiiight!" I yelled happily making him chuckle. Can my life get any more better?
