Chapter Five

Alyx

I narrowed my eyes.

"Touch her and you're dead meat, Irwin." I made a sword materialise into my hands and Luna let out a squeak behind me.

"Mum just run, I can handle him." Luna whispered resting her hands on my shoulders. I shook my head.

I turned to face my daughter.

"What are you even doing here in the first place?" I looked her in the eyes.

"I sensed something bad was to happen and when I sensed someone in the house I may or may not have followed you." She spoke timidly.

"Not to ruin your daughter mother moment here, but I'm still here." Ashton spoke. I turned back to face him.

I heard a growl from behind me and Luna leapt over my body her wolf form ready to pounce.

"Luna." I seethed and she launched herself at Ashton. The female next to him looked at her and she dropped midair into her human form. I glared at the female.

"Mum, just run." She squeaked on the floor.

"You've both had it now." I growled and my vision seemed to turn red. Ashton's eyes widened.

I inhaled sharply and smirked. I threw myself at the female, knocking her off of her feet.

She narrowed her eyes and muttered something in Latin under her breath. After a second her face turned into fear.

"What? Your little angel spell not work on me?" I seethed.

"Ashton!" She screamed. I leant down close to her face.

"Be lucky I haven't ripped your throats out by now." With that I pressed my hand against her forehead and she passed out. I turned and looked at Ashton who had Luna in his arms and his lips near her neck. His fangs poking out slightly.

"Eric." I smirked. Ashton froze.

"I'm Ashton. What are you on about?" He whispered and tossed the girl to the side. She let out a yell of fright and she disappeared. I smirked.

"You're not Ashton, you have a different scent." I swung my blades about. "Anyway Eric, you messed up big time."

"Huh?" He asked. That's when Jayden appeared behind him getting him into a headlock.

"You're coming with us." Michael growled standing beside me. "And you're giving your best friend back."

With that he punched Eric in Ashton's body, knocking him out cold.

"Okay so how did you know where I was?" I asked the gang sipping my hot chocolate.

"Well." Michael smirked looking at Luke who just stood there and blushed.

"I... uhm... may of linked with your daughter." I spat out my hot chocolate.

"You what?" I dived out my seat and was in front of him in a second my fist raised.

"Guys it's Alyx and Luna he was kidnapped!" Calum ran in with Ruben beside him. Luna entered the room from the stairs.

"Dad, we're fi- Mum why are you about to punch Luke?" She asked her eyes wide.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because someone as old as my great great great great great grandma has-" I cut myself off and turned to Calum. "Yeah we're fine. You're a bit slow though aren't you?"

A crash and from upstairs and Luna flinched.

"The spell from the witch in the cabin not too far away from us is currently in process." She spoke quietly. Mercy appeared behind me.

"We have the girl in solitary confinement." She bowed slightly. "Sorry for the inconvenience."

"It's fine." I whispered suddenly becoming light headed.

"Alyx?" Calum rushed to my side.
