Alyx

"Evan!" I yelled seeing the familiar hybrid hiding behind Mercy. I dived onto him hugging him tightly. "I haven't see you in what... months?"

"Yeah, sorry business and such." Evan laughed scratching the back of his neck. I laughed and let go before returning to Calum's side.

Calum laced his fingers with mine as we stood in front of everyone.

It was a while before someone spoke again.

After we had finished drinking and all of that, everyone started pulling out blankets and settling down where they were placed. I smiled.

"If you're going to do... things..." Mercy trailed off winking. I felt the heat creep up my cheeks.

"We're not don't worry." I laughed looking elsewhere in the room before giving everyone a slight wave before heading off to bed.

"Goodnight Alyx." Calum whispered as he laid in bed beside me.

Calum woke up when the sun was just under halfway up the sky. He stretched his arms out to reach for Alyx, to find her side of the bed perfectly made without her there.

He sat up rubbing his eyes as his sensitive hearing picked up people downstairs moving about. He slipped out of bed and downstairs.

"Where's Alyx?" Mercy asked as she looked up from her phone. That's when Calum's blood ran cold.

"Wait...-" Ruben trailed off and within seconds his vampire side had taken over and he raised his nose into the air and sniffed about.

"No one has seen her?" Luke asked looking up from the game of Connect 4 he was playing with Luna.

Calum's mind raced with thoughts of her.

"I smelt something briefly but then a scent of sweet blood blocked everything." Ruben spoke.

Everyone in the household started panicking then. Mercy more so than others since she knew that Eric was out there after her.

"We need to find her." Luna spoke up standing up abruptly the counters scattering the floor. "Eric is after her, we don't know what he will do with her."

"Wait, Eric?" Calum choked out.

"We got told..." Mercy trailed off. "We got told that he wants her as his queen or something like that. That and he won't stop at anything to get her."

Michael recognised a male that had walked in. He was one of those from the three wolves that had told Alyx they would protect her.

"We sensed her..." He panted. "She's in the garden."

Calum was first out there, his eyes widened as he saw the sight.

Alyx was covered in a black dress that seemed to wave in the breeze, and her hair seemed to be longer. Her makeup looked to be done specifically for something.

Her limp head hung to one side, causing the hair to cover some of her face which meant the others couldn't see. One thing that shocked Calum the most?

The fact his wife was crucified up against two trees dressed in an outfit he'd never seen before, that and it reeked of demon.
