"You're okay? He didn't hurt you?" Calum asked panic across his face as he gently touched mine.

"I'm fine, he didn't hurt me." I lied. He did, but it never seemed intentional.

"Good." Calum whispered closing his eyes. When he opened them tears brimmed the edges. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we embraced in the club.

"Should we go home?" I whispered. He nodded and I teleported us to our house. He quickly picked me up and ran me upstairs to the bedroom and pulled me in beside him. His arms wrapped around me tightly as tears fell from his eyes freely.

"Alyx..." He croaked quietly. "I... Don't do that again, okay?"

"I can't guarantee you that, I can't loose you. If that I sacrifice myself, so be it." I whispered and played with his hair. He shook his head aggressively.

"No!" He cried out, his voice breaking. "You can't do that. We fight as one or not at all."

Training started, news from Alyx up in my head had stated that Eric was ready to start the battle of battles. Everyone had been notified, and we were now helping eachother out in any way possible.

A lot of demons had escaped hell whilst they can, most of them being the ones from the pub who agreed that Eric was being crazy.

I watched as Calum flitted about a demon before easily pinning him to the ground. Everybody was working hard, and everybody knew that not all of us would make it out alive.

I turned to the tree near me and brought my fist up to meet the wood. A sickening crack echoed off of the other trees around us. The tree groaned and fell to the floor. I let out a sharp breath and closed my eyes.

"Are you okay?" Calum ran over and grasped my hand inspecting it. I opened my eyes and nodded.

"I'm fine." I whispered and he gave me a concerned look.

"You've been really quiet, what's wrong?" He asked and held my eyes.

"It's nothing." I spoke turning away from him and stretching out letting my wolf form take over.

I got back to the house at night, it was dark and I was tired.

"There you are." Jayden smiled. I ignored her and trotted straight past her and let the change happen. I walked inside and went up to my room and pulled on clothes.

"Mum?" Luna asked as she walked in. I turned to her and she ran and hugged me.

"I can read your mind, it won't happen okay?" She whispered quietly. "We'll win, I'm sure of it."
