Alyx

I bounced down the stairs wiping the tears from my eyes and everyone turned to look at me.

"Why are you out of your room?" Luke asked.

"No one said I couldn't come out." I shrugged feeling happy now that I knew the truth. "Anyway you guys know that I love you all, right?"

"What are you after?" Ashton asked narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing, it's just 'cause I love you all. You're all my family now and I wouldn't ever let anything stop that." I smiled brightly. Hearing my parents like that again, just seemed to wake something up inside me.

"Something's wrong with you, are you okay?" Jayden asked. I nodded smiling before slipping off to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a yogurt and then reached into a draw grabbing a spoon. I ate the yogurt in silence.

Two days till I see my blood parents.

--

I woke up feeling refreshed and feeling excited. Today was the day I finally met them for real.

I slid out of bed, alone. Calum didn't particularly trust me right now due to the stunt Eric pulled. But I completely understood where he was coming from.

I grabbed a nice sweater and jeans before diving into the shower and washing.

I changed and dried my hair before applying minimal makeup.

"What's for you so happy?" Calum asked from behind me. I turned to look at him and smiled.

"My parents are coming." I swear I saw his face drop.

"Y-Your parents?" He asked. I nodded and his eyes widened. He then sprinted off, I heard the shower run and him yell things at the kids.

Such a dork.

I ran my fingers through my hair before making my way downstairs. There stood Luna in a simple black dress with her hair pulled up. Ruben in a smart dress shirt and pants and Calum frantically trying to style his hair.

"Wait aren't your parents deceased?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Not my real parents, no." And almost as if on cue the doorbell rang. Everyone turned to look at me.

"Who's at the door?" They asked. Did they not just hear the conversation?

I walked towards the door taking a deep breath and opening it. There stood Mark from the bar and two middle aged adults.

"You must be Alyx." They smiled and the male held out a hand to me. I shook it, his larger hands engulfing my smaller ones.

"Jerry don't be so formal with her, her foster parents told her about is." The female scolded.

"So the demon lord wants my big sister huh?" Mark laughed. "I remember you saved me that one time too, you just happen to love to save me don't you?"

"I did what was right, you've given me valuable information." I smiled. "I apologise for the state of the home, things have been rather hectic the past few weeks, please come inside."

The three of them walked in. My mother seemed to be so elegant in her movement yet her eyes held so much wisdom, father seemed to be strong yet his eyes held his childish thoughts.

"Luna, Ruben come here and meet your grandparents and your uncle." I called out. Instantly there were the two children by my side. Their eyes widened.

"Mum..." Luna whispered her voice low.

"Our grandchildren huh?" Jerry laughed looking at them. "They're already so mature and old."

"Where is the father?" Mother gave off a slight attitude.

"Now now, please calm down Elli." Jerry rested his hand on her shoulder and Calum walked out on cue. He came and stood behind me.

"It's nice to meet you." Calum offered his hand to Jerry who just pulled him into a hug.

"It's a pleasure to meet the man who keeps our little girl happy." Jerry spoke. Elli's face softened and she looked at us four.

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you. I was just surprised to know we had more family." She spoke quietly a smile on her face.

"It's no problem." I smiled and she grabbed me with her soft hand and pulled me close into a hug. I felt tears fall.

"You've grown so much..." She whispered. "So has your power, I'm so proud of you."

I smiled and hugged back.

"It's nice to finally meet you."
