Alyx

It had been a week since then, Elli had been training me to control my powers and Jerry had been teaching me how to make sure my anger didn't get the best of me.

Calum hadn't really forgiven me after I froze him with my powers, so now there was an awkward tension between us. Ruben and Luna sensed it too.

I was sat in my room brushing my hair up into a pony tail, dressed casually in my sports bra and some leggings and trainers. I hadn't actually seen Calum since yesterday which worried me slightly.

"Alyx." Michael burst through the door, his face held pure shock. "Alyx it's Calum, I can't sense him anymore."

I turned abruptly to him, the brush halfway through my hair.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I could sense him due to my powers, I sensed him over an hour ago in a forest." He spoke lowly. "Now I can't that means he could be kidnapped or..."

I quickly finished my hair and walked up to him. "Where about was he?"

"He was near the witch hut." He spoke. I nodded and stretched out slightly.

"I'm going to find him." I spoke slipping under Michaels arms through the doorway. "I don't know how long I'll be, but I'll be back with Calum, I can promise you that."

I used my wolf sense to sniff out the exact place Calum was, and when I got there, I smelt blood and demon.

"Fuck..." I muttered under my breath, knowing that he had been in a fight and kidnapped. I closed my eyes pressing my hands against the tree and opened a portal. I quickly stepped through.

"It's Alyx!" I saw people from the pub. They ran over cheering and smiling.

"Have you sensed a vampire around here?" I asked. "This is urgent, we need him back with us."

"Yes, Eric's guards had an unconscious male being dragged between them earlier." One of the greying males spoke. "It looked like they were taking him to the castle."

"Thank you so much for your help." I smiled slightly before sprinting off, the only sound that filled my ears was Calum's yells of pain. My wolf senses were still turned on so I could hear him from this distance.

What were they doing to you?

I arrived at the castle hidden behind a wall, guards were everywhere.

"I won't tell you!" I heard Calum yell, before that tell became a scream of pain. I clenched my fists taking deep breaths. Don't let the anger get the best of me, that's what I had to do.

I could hear everything that was going on to Calum in them walls, it hurt. I could hear every pained gasp, every blood drop hitting the floor, every yell of pain.

"You're willing to die to keep your little Alyx safe?" I heard Eric and I felt my heart stop.

"I will be ready to do that forever and I always have been. If she lives I don't care about what happens to me as long as she's safe. She knows better than to come after me into this realm." Calum laughed painfully. "You're never getting her, deal with it."

I looked at the guards and narrowed my eyes. I swiped my hands about and watched as they all flew into each other and became unconscious.

With them all down I sprinted towards the walls, I scaled them quickly before sprinting across them. I sniffed the air and smelt Calum's blood coming from the tallest tower. No windows, nothing.

The only logical way to get in would be through the castle. But I never did things the easy way. I jumped from the wall and gripped into the tower wall before scaling upwards.

I got to where I could sense Calum directly in line with me and masked my aura and scent.

"How does it feel? She's not coming for you?" I heard Eric.

"I don't care if she doesn't, that just means she knows it's best for the rest of us if she left me here." Calum spoke.

"Fine, have a fun time in oblivion." I heard wood being lifted, the smell of the wood filling my nose. I mustered all my strength.

"Break." I whispered and the wall under my hands broke into the tower, dust flew up but I could still see. The stake was about to plunge into Calum's chest. I sprinted forwards and kicked it out of Eric's hands. "Leave Calum alone, I'm the one you want."

"Alyx." Both Calum and Eric spoke, just both with different tones. I had never seen Eric so murderous since I knew him, a smirk on his lips.

"I've been expecting you, princess." He took a step forward and caressed my cheek.
