IT had been three months, since then we had trained until training would have done us no good. I stretched out and looked between my friends and family here.

I'd make sure I wouldn't loose them, none of them could die on me. I know if Mercy knew what I was thinking, she'd lecture me as we're all in this together. But, even then, my heart still ached at the thought of everyone here getting hurt.

I stood up as they were engrossed in their own conversations and I headed into the back garden. I pressed my hands against the wall and a portal opened. I stepped through and felt it close behind me. I shook my hair out as the flames of hell welcomed me.

"Eric!" I called out as I stood in the centre of the town in hell. Voices whispered about me. Eric had found out I had escaped, he had also found out I tricked him with a clone. I could tell that as soon as he realised.

"Is she calling upon our King?" A man laughed. "He won't come. She's not even a demon." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and felt the demon power surge through me.

'maybe he's already dead?' Alyx inside my head spoke to me.

"He wouldn't just die so easily when he knows he's going to be fighting me." I spoke softly and opened my eyes. I stretched out and felt the flames lick at my legs, causing slight burns which kept healing.

"Wait, who's that?" A woman asked gesturing to a figure on a rooftop.

"Eric if that's you, you're coming to me. I'm not moving. I'm here to speak." I spoke with dominance. The rest of the people around me gasped.

"She's strong, maybe even stronger than him."

"What is it you want, flower?" I felt Eric's presence behind me and his hand caressed my cheek. His breath hot against my neck.

"I want to speak." I turned and took a step back away from him. His eyes held pain and betrayal.

"How could you run away from me?" He whimpered. "I thought, I thought we had something special."

"You're an evil manipulative bastard." I didn't show sympathy. "I'm here to let you know, when the big day comes. When the day comes where it's all or nothing, you're fighting me."

"Y-You? I could never hurt you." He stuttered.

"Bullshit." I spat. "But you're against me. A fight to the death."

"If that's what you wish Princess." He frowned and took a step forward. "I miss our travelling days, please don't leave me here with him."

That's when it clicked.

"I'm coming back for you." I whispered softly. "I won't let him win." His eyes flashed back and his stance changed to his other side.

"How sweet, he managed to overpower me." The evil voice chuckled. "Maybe you're not the only one who can overcome their demons."

"You heard me though, I'm fighting you when the day comes." I spoke strongly again. "Whether that means we both die, or one of us does. You're mine."

With that I went back to my world, my home.

My plan to just obliterate him, to obliterate Eric had been foiled. Because Eric... Eric wasn't Eric anymore.
