Chapter Eight

Alyx

"Mum!" Luna yelled, tied up and bloody. I stood out in the open.

"I'm here Eric." I yelled out opening my arms. "Let my daughter go you pathetic demon!"

"Why should I?" A finger ran across my cheek.

"I'll stay here with you, Luke will take Luna home." I spoke to him. He hesitated and came to a stop in front of me.

"Mum if we fight together we can beat him-" She let out a cry.

"Luna just go with Luke okay?" I smiled towards her and Eric untied her from the chains. As he went to turn around Luke ran in scooping Luna up and ran to my side.

"Mum..." Luna reached out for me.

"It will be okay." I looked Luke in the eyes who gave me a knowing nod. He ran a little away so Luna could still see me.

I walked towards Eric and grasped his hand gently.

"Let's go okay, don't worry about them..." I trailed off. Eric smirked and went to shackle me. But as he went to lock the shackles around me I teleported above him and let my demon instincts take over.

The edge of my vision was black, and I was pulling these blades out of their hiding places quick. Hearing demon skin split as they came in contact with him.

"You're a lot stronger than you look. But now you have no weapons." He spoke, teasingly.

"Oh I wouldn't be so strong about that." I let a smirk land on my lips before sprinting towards him and balling my hand into a fist.

I ducked under his attacks and connected my fists with his skin numerous times watching as he went flying into a building.

He groaned slumping downwards.

I teleported about confusing him as he tried attacking me numerous times. I smirked until he connected his fist with my stomach. I groaned and rolled backwards.

"You really think you could beat me, darling?" He teased. I nodded smirking and closed my eyes. I let my werewolf side take over. My paws hitting the floor heavily.

His eyes widened slightly.

I went to launch myself at him before someone seemed to fly over me. I watched as Luna attached to his arm. He started cussing and shaking his arm about. I launched myself at him as he threw her off. I aimed for his neck but he swung out and grabbed my leg. He brought his other hand up and grabbed my leg and I heard it crunch as I bit onto his shoulder.

I let out a whimper through my teeth as he threw me to the side. I rolled a few times before landing in a pile of rubble.

By this time Luna had gotten up shakily and wandered towards him. Determination on her face.

"Luna..." Luke called out. She let out a deep growl before running with all her speed at the demon.
