My sword ripped through another demon as Mercy and I walked throughout hell.

"This is what the forbidden realm looks like." Mercy spoke as white flames formed swords in her hands. I nodded.

"Yeah." I spoke with a pant. We had been down here for half a day now. No one would give us answers on why they want our blood. They either run away or die by our hands.

We were used to it now, killing people... or things should I say. It didn't phase us one bit. In fact I'm starting to find the sound of the demon flesh tearing somewhat satisfying. Almost like when you get sunburn and the skin starts peeling, or when you're in school and you totally didn't put PVA glue on your hands to peel it off.

"Your thoughts scare me sometimes." Mercy laughed looking towards me.

"Thanks, that's what I aim for." I pulled tongues at the girl. Her clothes were singed around the edges.

"What's a werewolf and an Angel doing here?" A voice purred from behind us. We turned, blades reflecting the flames of hell onto every surface around. The demon walked towards me, outstretching his arm. "Well aren't you a little flower burning bright with the flames of violence."

I didn't hesitate with slicing his arm off when he touched me. His eyes widened at my action.

"Don't touch me you filthy demon." I seethed. Mercy span her blades about in a threatening manner. "We want answers and we want them now, do you understand?" I advanced towards the pained demon clutching his half an arm to his chest.

"Depends what answers you want." He had a playful smirk on his face.

"Why was I attacked?" I had my blade against his chest whilst Mercy snuck up behind him and held her blades of purity to his neck.

"You were attacked because you are special. There's never been a hybrid out there like you before. You should of died when your friend turned you into one of us." He smirked licking his lips. "Not just anyone survives being changed into a demon."

"So what about it?" Mercy asked, her eyes were a pure white. Something that I myself had only seen once.

"Our master wants you for himself. He doesn't care who he kills to get to you. He wants you beside him for the rest of his reign, he wants you to accompany him when he takes your little world and crushes it under his foot."

"I've heard enough." I looked up at the demon. "Thank you for your cooperation. Tell your master that it isn't happening. I'm staying right where I've been my whole life."

Mercy was next to me in an instant as her angel wings sprouted and encased us just as demons surrounded us.

I closed my eyes to feel the pain of teleporting out of another realm. I opened my eyes when I was met with fresh, cold air. Mercy's blades were gone and so was mine. She smiled at me.

"No running away this time now that everyone in the forbidden realm wants your blood." She spoke smiling. "We'll all fight alongside you."

"I learnt that from last time."

"Anyway how long do you plan on keeping it from Callum that you gained your demon powers?"

"As long as I can, I guess." I sat down on the floor in the forest. "He would call someone to get rid of my demon side again after what happened last time before Luna came along. If we have any chance of getting through this, we all need to be strong and I'm not strong unless I have a secondary power."

"I understand. I'll let you get back to your husband now. We've been gone for a while, I'm sure he's worried." Mercy gave a wave before disappearing, the sound of feathers filling my ears. I teleported myself away from the house so I could walk.

I unlocked the door once I got there to see Calum sat on the bottom of the stairs, asleep.

I walked over shutting the door behind me and picked him up before carrying him to bed. I kissed his forehead before sitting on the other side of the bed.

"No one will be having their bloodshed this time." I whispered looking at his peaceful form. "Not that we'll be fighting as one."
