Ok so as usual this will go back and forth between Annie and Alex :))) I hope everyone enjoys THE DATE!!!
Alex's POV
I was waiting in front of Annie's apartment, I was so nervous! I couldn't wait to see her though, I had been picturing her beautiful face all night and all day today. I had already buzzed her, and her friend/roommate Becca informed me she was on her way down.
I heard the door opening, and held my breath. An angel emerged from the building, she had long dark hair, and the bluest eyes I'd ever seen. She was also just the person I happened to be waiting for! She stepped out, and gave me a shy smile.
" Ready to go?'' I asked huskily, I cleared my throat when she nodded, and added. " You look amazing Annie, absolutely breathtaking." I gushed, her cheeks flamed a beautiful red.
" Thank you Alex, you look nice as well." We made our way to my car and I opened the door for her. After making sure she was in good, I shut the door and walked around to the drivers side.
" Do you like Italian food?" I asked as we pulled out.
" It's my favorite." She answered while looking out her window.
" I'm really glad you texted me, I was sure you hated me." I admitted, she turned my way giving me a confused look.
" Alex you texted me remember?" She asked, I returned her confused look. She sent me the text saying she needed to talk to me, why was she acting as though she didn't? I wasn't going to push my luck so I just focused on driving.
" So I'm taking it you don't remember texting me first, so that can mean only one thing!" She pulled her phone out and searched through her numbers till she found the one she wanted, she hit the button and waited for whoever it was to pick up.
" Hey Becca, I was just having a very interesting conversation with Alex, and guess what?" She waited a few seconds and then continued, " We're so confused about who sent who the first text message, and since I know I didn't do it, and he knows he didn't do it; there only leaves you!"
I could here Becca's voice coming from the other end, she was half laughing, half explaining. They talked for a few more minutes then hung up, she turned to me with apologetic eyes. " I'm so sorry, my roommate can be a bit of a matchmaker."
I gave her a warm smile " That's ok, I'm glad she did it, to tell you the truth. I wanted so badly to call you, but honestly had no clue what to say. I'm really sorry if I hurt your feelings Annie." I said truthfully.
She sighed " Alex, I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have ran off, without giving you a chance to tell me why you were apologizing." Her blue eyes were sparkling, it took all my energy to focus on the road and not how amazing she looked tonight.
" I apologized because I thought you might feel it inappropriate for us to be kissing," She laughed a little.
