Author's Note: OK so the last chapter was a cliffhanger so I think the title to this chapter helps explain last chapter haha, anyway I had a few people confused and just wanted to say you will find out where Alex is in this chapter :D Plz enjoy and as usual, please tell me what ya think!

  Annie's POV

" Owe..." I heard myself moan faintly, my head felt like it had been cut into! The pain was literally blinding, I tried opening my eyes. It took me several attempts, before I could finally open them without them blinking and shutting.

My hands were bound to a small pole that ran from floor to ceiling.Whoever had hit me over the head, had sat me on the ground by this pole and tied me to it. I looked around the unfamiliar room, it appeared to be a basement.

The small was musty, and the room itself was damp and dark. I looked around the room carefully, trying to see anything. A figure, not far from me sat slumped over. I could see his face, but I knew it was a man by the outline of his body.

I groaned inwardly, please Lord don't let that be Alex I prayed silently. My eyes continued to scan the room, there were two others tied to poles identical to mine and the other mystery guy. I sighed in relief when I saw Alex looking around, he was tied up closer to a light than me and the other guy.

" Annie, thank God your okay." He said in a half whisper, the light caught his face and I cried out. He had a cut above his eyebrow, his bottom lip was swollen and bleeding, and the other eye had a big black bruise forming around it making it hard for him to see out of.

" What happened to you?" I asked softly, not wanting to attract attention to us. It didn't seem like anyone was down here with us, but I didn't want to press my luck. " I don't know, one minute I'm walking through the front door, the next I wake up tied up to this pole and my face all beat up."

I could feel the tears spring to my eyes, as a small sob escaped. I heard someone else groan, and looked over at the mystery guy. By now my eyes were use to the darkness, and I could see his features fully.

" Randy?" I gasped, disbelieving what my eyes were seeing. " What happened to you?" He looked up at me, his face full of confusion and blood. He looked far worse than Alex, I felt my heart speed up. Who was behind this? Surely not Maggie, I mean I wasn't sure she could pull something like this off.

" I don't know, but my face is killing me." He said, spitting the blood from his mouth. " Where are we anyway?" He asked looking around the dimly lit room.

" My guess is a basement." Came Olivia's voice, she was the other person tied to a pole. She was rubbing the back of her head, with her tied up hands. " Ugh whoever hit me did a good job." She said dryly, " My head is bleeding."

" It's my basement." Alex replied, hanging his head looking towards the cement floors.

" Your basement?" Randy shouted in an accusing tone, " Just how in the hell did we end up in your basement?" Now that really did sound accusing.

" Look man I don't know, I woke up in the same boat you guys are in." He shouted back, he clenched his jaw and I could tell he was both mad and disgusted.

" Calm down, fighting over why were all here isn't going to help any of us figure out why were here, and who did this to us." Olivia said reasoning between them, she turned to look at me.

" Are you okay Annie?" She asked in a soothing voice. I won't lie, it still surprised me how nice she could be when she wanted.

" I'm bleeding, but I think I'm okay." I replied in a small voice, looking down at the floor. The truth was, I could fell blood trickling from the base of my neck all the way down my back. I had no clue what hit me, but it had done some damage.
