Chapter 23: The Heir of the Goddess and the Prince of Darkness

The legends are false, cause I do. They say that once a person learns how to control both Light and Dark, you have the world in your palms. Some say that I should be thankful cause its a gift, but I think it's more of a curse, a curse that only four people in this world carry.

Me,my supposed sister, our lost Mom, and her Dad.

I know that you expected the last person to be my Dad, but no,he's just a vampire, more like the Prince of Darkness because vampires ruled the dark realm, while my Mom was one of the few that escaped the wrath of their own Dad, Kronos himself.

The Titan that attempted to eat every single one of his children, failed to eat my mom, she spoke the moment she was born and when Kronos was about to eat her, they fell into a debate, in which she won and became Kronos' favorite and only child alive. Mom instantly became the Goddess of Darkness and stayed beside Kronos' side in spreading his evilness.

Little did the both know, that three of Kronos' sons appeared to survive.Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades were secretly orchestrating their own fathers death, the three succeeded and planned next on their dark sister's death. Mom was very smart and knew that they were planning to do so and traveled halfway through the world to seek safety. On her search, she crossed the most powerful white Witch and helped her, the witch eventually treated her like her own child and slowly, Mom resurfaced to the light.

When Mom's powers reached the level of her mentor, she decided to travel to Olympus and gain her brothers trust. It took thousands of begging,persuading, torturing, and interrogating just to finally gain their trust. And even though the brothers let her stay with them they still gave her the hardest and most dangerous jobs just so she could be on good terms with them. She successfully finished all the jobs with impressive stats but there was one that almost broke her, not only her but her already-dim future.

The brothers sent her on a mission to seduce the Prince of the Darkness until he will be willing to do anything for her, including killing his own Father, the King of the Dark Realm. Mom had to act as if she was a dark witch that was mistreated and thrown into the dark realm,she immediately caught Dad's attention and soon they became lovers,to the point that Mom couldn't play or use him anymore. She confessed to him, and while Dad accepted her, the dark creatures didn't, they planned on killing the couple.

The Witch and the Vampire's love bore a child, or so they thought. Every dark creature thought that only one child was born but they didn't have only one,  instead, they had two. Twin daughters who held possibly the most amount of power in the world. The dark creatures schemed to kill them so the lovers decided to separate and hide one each. The Vampire hid the other child in a haven for creatures while the witch hid hers in an orphanage in the human world. One training and growing to be her destined self, and one not even knowing of her real existence.

The Vampire was held captive for a short time and brutally killed by his own subjects, while the witch erased herself in everyone's lives,making a new identity that has no relation to her past.

17 years had passed, and the Dark realm didn't seem to have a problem,until now. Their King died, without a next, real heir to the throne,the Dark creatures had to pick one in their council, but the Dark realm was never as unsuccessful and useless as it is now with their new leader. The Dark people had to make a move or else their existence would be soon wiped out, they had to find the real heir to the throne, the daughter of the prince they killed. They had to find my twin or

ME.

Anastasia dropped every last bit of information to me and she slowly glowed. The questions I've stocked have finally been answered, and it's all negative.
