Tanzenite had left the temple a few days ago. She had spent the next few days concerned train on the voice in her head. She knew it could be nothing, she knew Jasper wouldn't be that stupid, she knew she wasn't that desperate.
She clamored to her feet on the morning of the fourth day away from the Gems. She looked out over the horizon from her small wooded shelter and took a deep breath and shivered. Fresh snow had began to fallen. She was thankful she could use the warp pads without fearing she'd run into the Gems. She could feel the cold mountain air on her skin. She took a step down the slope and heard a sudden rumble. She gasped and found herself tumbling downhill at an alarming speed.
She rolled and rolled and then, SLAM! She hit a tree at the foot if the cliff. She sat up and looked at the tree then to the cliff. She pulled herself out of the snow and began walking, feeling dizzy from the fall.

A few hours into her trek and she happened across fresh prints in the snow. They looked too big for a human and too small for most of the gem monsters she'd seen. She decided to follow them, hoping beyond hope that it would lead her to Jasper.

Since she left Steven's, Jasper's voice has grown louder and louder. It was more like she was screaming inside Tanzenite's mind by this point. She had begun to feel sick and her head started to throb. She sat down about three hours into her tracking of the footprints. Sitting lead to resting, which lead to laying down. The bright light on snow made her vision blurry, she was going to pass out. She blinked her eyes slowly, footsteps were muffled but heard. She blinked and saw an enormous figure in front of her. She blinked again, the figure leaned down.
"...Not taking any chances..."
The voice was familiar.
She blinked again. She was being carried. Her eyes fluttered, and she fell asleep.
