They all got back to the Temple late. Tanzenite helped unpack and got Connie all settled on the couch.
"Where do you sleep Tanzenite?" She asked. She smiled as she was walking away.
"Depends, I haven't really been tired recently." Connie nodded in response. The car right must have taken a lot out of her and Steven because they were both asleep fairly quickly.

Tanzenite stepped outside and o to the beach. The sand was still warm from the day. She buried her feet and sat down. The waves were a calming sound. She laid back and closed her eyes. Of all the places, the beach made her feel so comfortable.

She heard the screen door open behind her. She looked and saw Amethyst looking around. She sat up and waved to her. Amethyst smiled and hoped down to her and sat.
"Finally we have a moment to talk." Amethyst said, sounding giddy.
"I know, it feels like I haven't spoken to you in forever."
"It's because you haven't." The two laughed.
"Sorry about that, I needed to find a new place to stay." Tanzenite explained.
"And you chose that old dump?"
"Heh, heh. It was all that was avaliable."
"What happened?" There was a pause. Tanzenite rested her chin on her knees.
"It's did something bad again, I'm also having nightmares."
Amethyst put a hand on her shoulder, then pushed her over.
"Don't spend too much time thinking about it, come one let's go swim in the beach." Tanzenite smiled widely and chased Amethyst to the beach.
Amethyst jumped and transformed I to a ball and splashed into the ocean with an enormous splash. Tanzenite waded in the shallows. If the beach made her relaxed, than Amethyst made her more relaxed.

Amethyst rolled over to her and transformed into her normal self. She sat by her side smiling.
"I missed you, ya know?" Amethysts said.
"I know, I missed you too."
"Why did you even leave?"
Tanzenite paused and made an obvious thinking face.
"I... I don't know... I just know I had to." Amethyst laid back and sighed.
"I guess... Is it... do you not remember?" She said looking concerned suddenly. Tanzenite frowned.
"Thank you, for distracting me, earlier, but, um... I have... no memory past 250 years ago. I have.... feelings... I know... faces... I know who I belong to... but not why I'm not with her now... or why I'm here." Amethyst sat up.
"Wait, wait, wait, so you remember her, but you don't remember anything else?" The concern in Amethyst's eyes made the fact of it true to Tanzenite. She looked back, scared. She covered her eyes with her hands.
"I want to fix this. I'm remembering less and less, I-"
"I'll help you..." Tanzenite uncovered her eyes.
"But not yet, we'll need everyone else's help too." Tanzenite nodded.
"So you're saying..."
"I'll help ya, and it seems Steven already likes ya a lot, but you'll need to convince Garnet and Pearl that they can trust you." Tanzenite listened intently. Amethyst smiled and gave her a wink.
"In short, let me convince them to help you." Tanzenite smiled a child like smile and followed listened to her plan.
