They began immediately. Jasper's plan was to begin capturing corrupt gems and tame them to listen to only her. Now that she had Tanzenite, she had plenty of reason to warp anywhere in the world without being noticed by the Crystal Gems. Tanzenite didn't seem to mind, even though Jasper learned quickly that warping made Tanzenite very tired and required frequent breaks.
After long days hunting and catching corrupted gems, the two had finally settled in an area in the Great North. Tanzenite was in great need of a rest and Jasper was more than happy to tend to her.

The snow was falling gently around them, while the wind rustled the leaves in the trees above. Tanzenite couldn't help but listen. Jasper turned and saw her looking relaxed and smiled.
"Breath of nature?" Tanzenite nodded to the question.
I've always loved the snow, it's so brief and subtle, yet full of grace and wonder. The children of Earth seem to love it too." She made a giggle at the thought of kids hearing that their schools were cancelled until the roads were ckear, warranting a celebrated "snow day," as she remembered them saying. She stood up with the aid of Jasper who lifted her effortlessly.
"If you need to rest again, let me know and I'll carry you." Tanzenite  nodded. Jasper furrowed her brow.
"You're being aweful quiet, are you okay?" She blinked and looked at her quickly.
"Yes! I'm sorry, I'm lost in thought, it's been a while since I was this far up." Jasper snickered and offered her hand to her.
"Come on, it's steep here and I don't want you to slip." Tanzenite gave her a grateful smile and grabbed her strong, warm, hand and began stepping down the next hill carefully.

Once at the bottom, Jasper walked ahead and began examining the area. It'd been a while since they'd seen any activity from gems or humans, for that matter, and it was beginning to get under her skin.
"I can feel that there are some around here... Tanzy, can you sense anything?" Tanzenite looked around and kind of sniffed the air. She pointed in a random direction with a robotic motion a few moments later.
"I can sense two large gems in that direction, however, I'm not at my full capability so I can't tell exactly what type of gem they are." Jasper nodded in response.
"Looks like we're going that way then." She seemed to be cheering. Without a word, she hoisted Tanzenite over shoulder and ran over the horizon, in what felt like just a few leaps. Tanzenite laughed the whole way. She felt utterly rediculous, and more at home than ever before.
