A week after Tanzenite regaled what she remembered to Steven and the others, eventually telling Garnet and Pearl as well, things seemed to finally be calming down. Tanzenite was allowed to stay despite obvious misgivings from everyone; with some persuasion from Amethyst and a little from Steven, of course.
Tanzenite felt released and scared. She had told them everything she knew, and more to Pearl and Garnet, and was baffled to hear them say she could stay with a generous smile. They welcomed her as an official Crystal Gem. Overwhelmed with joy, she cried and hugged them. They chuckled and giggled and pat her on the back, hugging her the whole time.

Now they were fine, they told her about the drill they had made to stop a Geo Weapon that homeworld made to destroy the Earth, they talked about fighting Malechite and the bravery of the Watermelon villagers. Tanzenite listen with determination. She wanted to understand how they fought together, she wanted to understand their bond. Happily she had learned what she needed and was starting to be put on various missions with them as a group, or solo, or in pairs.

She was finally used to everything, when Garnet approached her one morning as she was flipping through the channels on Steven's television set.
"Tanzenite, I need you to do something." She jumped up and jumped down to her.
"Yes?" She answered.
"I have a new mission for you, you're going with Amethyst and Steven, I'm confident that you can watch those two now." As she said this, Steven turned around and Amethyst perked up. She hadn't spoken to Tanzenite much since the barn. Steven had and was looking excited. Garnet gave her a reassuring smile as she saw Tanzenite glance over to Amethyst.
"You'll do fine." She nodded and stood at attention.
"Where are we off to ma'am?" Enthusiasm glowing through her voice. Garnet pushed up her visor.
"You're heading to a remote location, you should he able to warp close enough to begin looking for the corrupted Gem in that location." Tanzenite nodded and turned around. Amethyst had stood up and gave her a wild smile while Steven ran up the stares to pack one of his many bags. She smiled at how excited he was and walked over to Amethyst. Garnet returned to her room inside the temple with a last thumbs up of good luck to her and a smile towards Steven and Amethyst.
She looked down to Amethyst, she wasn't really paying attention, she was picking her nose and yelling for Steven to hurry.

"Amethyst..." she said, Amethyst looked up mid nose pick.
"Yeah?" She answered.
"Sorry, if... I made you upset, at the barn." Tanzenite felt embarassed to have just now apologized, but she felt it was important to do it now. Amethyst laughed and punched her shoulder.
"Dude, I already knew all that, it's fine ya dork, I was more worried about you anyways." She rubbed her arm as she admitted that.
Just as she finished talking Steven ran back down the stares.
"OKAY, ready to go when you are!" Tanzenite smiled and looked at Amethyst.
"Should we travel my way?" She had a grin on that spelled trouble. Amethyst started laughing in that way she did when something was too exciting for her.
"Oh MAN, yeah, Steven should experience that!" She spun around to him and grabbed his face.
"It's like traveling on Lion but way WAY cooler!" Steven shook away Amethyst's string grip and looked up at Tanzenite with stats in his eyes.
"You can teleported like Lion!?" She giggled, she didn't know Lion, but she asume it was what it sounded like.
"I guess."
"Awesome!" She jumped up, Amethyst held on to her as well. Tanzenite looked up and thought very hard about the location Garnet described, without saying much, she just seemed to know where to go, she thought harder until an image of a warp pad came into her mind. She took a deep breath and clung to them tightly. A bright purple light engulfed them and they dissipated from the house. Inside the light were streams of pink and purple, blue and orange, and white lights everywhere. Steven felt like he had to look at everything at once. He looked at Tanzenite excited and saw that her eyes were like glass, he thought they looked like Lapis' eyes before he fixed her gem. He looked ahead of them out of the corner if his eye and saw a light at the end as the light slowly changed from the purple light to the normal stream of a warp pad.
They soon landed on the warp pad in the seperate location she was instructed to go. She exhaled when the stream dissapeared and let go of them and made a Ta-da pose weakly. Amethyst and Steven erupted into cheers and applause. It made Tanzenite giggle.
"Gosh, not used to getting applause." She admitted.
"Why not that was amazing you warped us here from the house!" Steven said excitedly. Tanzenite blushed. Amethyst gave her a hug, nearly knocking her over.
"Yeah! That's the Tanzy I know!" Tanzenite froze for just a half second, Amethyst did as well. She pulled away and gave her a ceremonial shoulder nudge.
"Good job, T." They smiled at each other, blushing a little. Steven looked at them, then turned to Tanzenite.
"Tanzy?" He asked.
"An old Nickname, I don't let a lot of people use it." She giggled nervously. Steven nodded and turned pointing dramatically into the distance.
"ALRIGHT, let's find this Gem Monster!"
