Playing with my Swim Cover

My eyes flutter open the next morning. I move to get out of bed, but strong arms pull me back. I

feel hot air blow on the back of my neck, giving me goosebumps.

"Hayes" I groan.

"Yes." Hayes says.

"Let me out of bed." I say to him.

"Sophia, you have goosebumps, you are cold. So you should stay here, with me to warm up." Hayes mumbles.

"Or I could go outside, it is really hot today." I tell him.

"And that's why we are going to the beach today." Hayes says.

Hayes takes a pause.

"Now let's get up, and ready to go to the beach!" Hayes cheers.

Hayes jumps over me and grabs my hands. He pulls me to my feet, and Matt walks in the room with a plate of food.

"We got both of you breakfast." Matt smiles, then walks out.

"Here Soph eat the bagel." Hayes says handing me a bagel.

I quickly eat the bagel to get it over with and look at Hayes. He is smiling widely.

"Okay, I get you ready today!" Hayes yells.

Hayes ties my hair into a messy bun again. Then pulls out a plastic shopping bag and searches through. He finally pulls one out.

"Perfect." He says handing me a suit.

I head to the bathroom and quickly change. I put on my black swim cover, and slip on my flip flops(pic above). I have my clothes in my hands and I walk out of the bathroom. I put my clothes away in my suitcase. I turn around and see Hayes smiling at me.

"What?" I ask him.

"Nothing." He says looking at the ceiling.

"No tell me." I say.

"Maybe I'll tell you later, but if you annoy me then I'll have to spank you." Hayes says giving me a warning slap on my butt.

I let out a tiny yelp. Then roll my eyes at Hayes, making him chuckle. I grab my phone. Apparently the boys already dropped Teagan off with the dog sitter. They wanted it to just be a me and them day. Hayes and I head to the van. The boys are all standing outside the van in swim trunks looking bored. As soon as they see us their faces light up. Shawn gives me a quick hello kiss on the head, then they jump into van. I didn't know they were this excited to go to the beach. The boys are sitting the van and Hayes is the lap one to sit down. Hayes pull me onto his lap and shuts the van door. Aaron turns on the radio and the boys are either snapchatting, talking to the others, or singing to the music. Hayes plays with the end of my black swim cover. I watch his fingers twist and roll the fabric around. Hayes is looking out the window, not even noticing he is doing it. I look at Hayes and smile. He glances at me realizing I was looking at him,then gives me a confused look. I keep smiling back at him.

"What?" he asks.

"Nothing." I giggle.

"How about I tell you what I was going to thinking before, and you tell me why you are smiling at me." Hayes suggests.

"Deal." I say back.

"I was smiling at you because you were playing with my swim cover. But you were zoned out and didn't notice." I say giggling.

Hayes looks down blushing.

"Awe! Are you blushing?" I say pinching his cheeks.

"Okay, Okay Sophia. Do you want me to tell you what I was thinking earlier or not?" Hayes asks pushing away my hands, and placing his on my hips.

I stop and look and Hayes who is smirking at me.

"Tell me." I demand smiling.

"Well...I was thinking that you looked amazing in your suit and I don't know how you can think otherwise.I still don't know why you think so badly of yourself. But you are so cute and adorable, and that's what made me smile." Hayes sighs.

I look down and Hayes places his fingers under my chin. He turns my head so it is facing him. He looks my straight in the eyes for a second.

"I'm sorry." I whisper.

"Hey you have nothing to be sorry about. The boys and I are still helping you, it will be okay." Hayes tells me.

I nod and put my head in his chest. His chin is on top of my head. The rest of the ride is silent until the van is parked. The boys and I pile out of the van and get our things. Hayes grabs my hand his fingers interlacing with mine. I look up at him and He looks at me.

"Come on, let's go." He smiles leading me to the path to walk onto the beach.

I am watching The Walking Dead, and I think The Kingdom, The Hilltop, and Alexandria should become a throuple(like a couple,but of three). They should fight Negan's group and be bad ass and finally get rid of them. Okay so that's all I have to say. Thank you for reading guys! Goodnight. xoxo
