Ready?

Nash bought our wristbands to get into the carnival. He gave them to us and we clasp them on our wrists. I look over and see Hayes and Cameron whispering and looking at me. It is making me feel slightly uncomfortable.

"Let's go to the bumper cars!" Jack J says and Jack G agrees.

"Or we could get food! They have fried Oreos!" Taylor suggests and Matt nods.

"We could go on that spinny ride over there," Aaron says and Shawn points at the ride.

The boys can't make up their minds and I see Hayes and Cameron still talking.

"Hey how about we split up and meet back here at 6. That will give us 3 hours to do whatever we want to do." Cameron says.

The boys nod their heads and agree to the plan and split up. They start to wonder off in different directions and I turn around and Hayes and Cameron were right there.

"You are with us Sophia." They say smiling.

"Okay" I giggle.

They both take a hand and drag me to the first ride.

"You guys need to slow down." I laugh.

"We just are taller and have long legs. It's not our fault you're short and tiny." Cameron says.

"Hey I'm not that short!" I protest.

"It's okay Sophia. You are cute and adorable." Hayes smiles.

Now I really feel the butterflies in my stomach.

"But to be fair, you are kind of short." Hayes says with a smirk.

I glare at him and he slides his arms around my torso and lets his hands rest on my lower back. We are waiting in line and it is almost our turn on the first ride.

Hayes, Cameron, and I rode a few rides and we still have 2 hours left. We get in line for a ferris wheel.

"Hey, I'm a little hungry. I'm going to go get some food. We can meet back here after you guys ride." Cameron says and starts to walk away.

I see Cameron give Hayes a thumbs up when he walks away, but I ignore it. It is finally our turn to go on the ferris wheel. It just happens to be a two person ferris wheel too. Hayes and I sit across from each other. I see him looking me up and down. It is starting to make me feel insecure. Maybe I am fat, they just have to be nice to me. I thought they wanted me to get better, but maybe not. I cross my arms over my exposed stomach. Hayes immediately looks down with a worried expression.

"Hey, hey, hey what's wrong?" Hayes asks pulling my arms back to my side.

"Nothing, just cold" I lie.

"Sophia come on tell me." Hayes says.

"You kept looking me up and down, so I thought that you saw fat or something." I mumble looking at the ground.

Suddenly, I feel his strong pair of arms wrap around me and pull me onto his lap.

"Sophia...." Hayes starts looking at me in the eyes sternly.

I gulp, nervously, about what he's going to say.

"I do not see any fat on your body at all. You are a twig. And the only reason I was looking you up a down was because I think you are gorgeous. I was also a really nervous for your surprise." Hayes laughs a bit.

I giggle a bit in relief, and Hayes laughs with me.

"Are you ready for your surprise?" Hayes asks.

"Yes!" I say excited, making Hayes laugh.

"Okay close your eyes." He commands.

I lightly close my eyes waiting for the surprise.
