Nightmare

Hayes brushes my hair with his hands making me fall asleep.

~Dream~

I'm running down the city streets. Jason is right behind me. He seems to be getting faster and I'm slowing down. He was closer and closer to me until he was close enough to grab me. He yanked me into a dark alley.

"I'm gonna make you regret screaming, brat!" Jason snarled.

I was begging him to stop. How did he escape? I thought the police took him. He took another knife out. He began to cut my clothes off, and then he cuts into my skin. Blood trickled off my body and onto the asphalt. I screamed trying to get help but he covered my mouth. He held the knife up to my throat.

"Make another sound and I'll kill you." Jason whispered.

He started the unbuckle his belt and the vision went black.

~End of Dream~

I sit straight up breathing heavy. It wasn't real. Just a nightmare.

"Sophia! It's okay, baby. Shhh." Hayes says cupping my face in his hands.

I instantly feel safer knowing that Hayes is here and that it was all a nightmare. Hayes wiped away tears. I didn't even realize it was crying. I noticed Teagan was gone and it was just me and Hayes. Hayes pulled me onto his lap gently. He traced circles of the back of my hand.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Hayes asks.

"No" I whisper.

Hayes hold my body close to his, making me feel safe and loved.

"Please sweetheart. Just tell me so I can help you." Hayes says.

I explain to him what happened, from the start until I woke up.

"I promise, he is out away for good. You will never see him again. I'm here for you, the boys are here. We aren't going to let you get hurt. Do you understand me?" He asks.

"Yeah" I say making him smile.

"Good, the boys are getting pizza for us all to eat. So they should be back soon." Hayes says and I nod.

Hayes lays down and pulls me next to him.

"You don't have to go to sleep if you don't want to. You can just lay here or talk to me." Hayes suggests.

"Okay, I'm a little afraid to fall asleep again anyway." I say.

Hayes leans down and kisses my head. We talk about little things. Like Teagan and crazy rumors. Talking just made me forget about all the bad things that happened.

~Later~

The boys came into the bus with pizza boxes. Talking to each other about who knows what. They bring the pizza back to the room Hayes and I were in. They put the boxes down on the table and bring in drinks for us. We start to eat pizza and watch tv. Hayes pulls me onto his lap.

"We should tell them about the nightmares." Hayes whispers

I look at him with pleading eyes hoping that he will let it go. He holds me tighter and shakes his head.

"Okay, guys Sophia had a really bad nightmare. About what happened to her in New York." Hayes told the guys.

He stroke my hair and kissed my neck. The boys look at me with sad faces and I look down at my hands.

"I'm sorry we weren't here, Soph." Shawn says sadly.

"You go to the doctors tomorrow for a check-up on the baby and we can ask about the nightmare." Hayes says.

"But you can sleep in my bunk again tonight so that I'll be there if it happens again." Hayes suggests.

The tv show ended and we cleaned up the pizza and soda cans. Hayes guided me into the bunk room and helped me into his. He laid down pulling me onto his chest.

"Just sleep, I'm right here if you need me. I'm always here." Hayes says.

Hayes kissed my lips. Tomorrow I get to figure out how many weeks along my baby is. I'll probably find out the gender next time I go to an appointment. Hopefully I'll also find out the reason for the nightmare this appointment. I breathe in Hayes's scent. Letting my eyes flutter closed I fall asleep to the sound of Hayes's deep voice telling me sweet nothings.

Hey guys I'm sorry I updated a day late again. School starts tomorrow and I'm not sure how my updating schedule will go. So I'm sorry in advance for not updating or updating late. I have a few chapters in mind to write about but I plan on ending this book soon but I'm making a sequel. It will be more about the baby and family/relationships. But please comment ideas to end the book! I want to hear from y'all what would be a good ending.
