Always be at My Side

I wake up to Shawn running his fingers over my cuts. I tilt my head up and he realizes I'm awake. He helps me out of the bunk then takes me into the kitchen. Some of the boys are in there. Shawn gives me a plate with plain toast.

"We'll all talk after breakfast." Shawn says and the boys and I nod.

I finish my toast and I stand up to put my plate in the sink. My stomach churns and I run into the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. It burns and I have tears running down my face. I didn't want this. What did I do to deserve what happened to me? I must've done something. I feel someone pulls my hair back, and I can tell it's Cameron by the scent of his cologne.

"It's okay." He whispers to me.

That broke me. How is any of this okay? How will it be okay?

"It's not okay! I didn't want or ask for any of this. Being pregnant or having sex with him!" I say loudly.

I freeze when I realized my mistake. No...no, no, no, no. The boys are quiet.

"No, I didn't mean it like that I-" I start.

"Sophia..." Cameron cut me off.

"Were you raped? That night in New York City?" Cameron asks softly.

My tears are rushing down my face I can't look at him. He already knows the answer. I could tell my the tone in his voice. I look him in the eye and give a soft nod.

"Yeah." I whisper barely audible.

I have given up. It's too much. I'm caught and I screwed up keeping my secret. Cameron pulls me into his chest and I cry. I feel the other boys wrap their arms around me and hold me tight.

"Why didn't you tell us, baby?" Cameron asks.

"It was my fault. I go lost backstage. I couldn't fight him off. I was upset and embarrassed, and I didn't want to hurt you guys." I say.

"You don't have to worry about us. Nothing was your fault, don't think that way, okay?" Shawn says.

I nod.

"I knew something was up with you that night. You were shaking. Shawn punished you and you didn't do anything wrong. We're so stupid." Cameron says getting mad.

"You're not stupid. I just hid it very well." I whisper.

It was silent and I stayed wrapped in their arms.

"We have to take you to a doctor and report this." Shawn says.

I look at him with pleading eyes. He lets out a light sigh.

"Not today, but soon." Shawn says making me relax a bit.

"We can just hang out the rest of the day."Cameron says.

The boys will probably always be at my side now. Shawn picks me up and carries me to the back room.

"We're all going to watch a movie and snack on junk food, okay?" Shawn says.

I nod and all the boys go to get the snacks, blankets, pillows, and movie dvds. Hayes is the only one that stays behind with me. He sits himself right next to me on the couch. Now it's just us two.
