One Last Secret

Time skip

Today is the day. I am going back to the doctors. I'm going to find out the baby's gender today!(you can find out the gender of a baby at 20 weeks so she is about 5 months along) I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Hayes is gonna stay in the room with me and tonight we are going to have a gender reveal. Hayes and I are taking an uber to the doctor's office and I'm tapping my foot nervously. A hand rests on my knee and Iook up at Hayes.

"Don't be nervous, everything will be fine and he or she will be perfect." Hayes says.

"Thank you" I smile and kiss him.

We arrive at the doctor's office and check in. We wait 10 minutes then they call us back. I change into the gown they gave me with a little "help" from Hayes. He basically kept staring at me while I was changing and barely helped me put the gown on. It's okay though cause he's so adorable. The doctor comes in and starts the ultrasound.

"Your baby is perfect and is doing great!" The doctor starts.

Hayes and I smile at each other.

"Would you like to know the gender?" She asks.

"Yes please" I say.

She look at the screen one last time and turns to us. We patiently wait in silence.

The doctor tells us the gender.

I smile big and Hayes hugs me.

The doctor wipes off the goo and leaves the room. I change and Hayes and I leave the doctor's office. We go out for ice cream and discuss on what to do for the gender reveal. We go to the store and buy everything we need and we go to a park to start setting it up. We decided that Hayes and I would release a pink or blue colored smoke thingy(I don't know if y'all understand this but idk what it's called). Hayes wraps it in black tape so no one else can see the color on the tube. I would do the smoke release alone but Hayes is worried I'll hurt myself so he is helping me. After we finish we call the boys to come meet us. Hayes turns to me and kisses me.

"Thought of any names yet? He asks.

"Not yet but I have some time to decide." I say.

Just then the boys arrived and I bring them over to the part we set up. I have one last secret to tell them.
