He Knew

I finish getting dressed and clasp on the necklace that Hayes gave me. (the look above) I stood in front of the mirror. I look at my scars and then my body. This is what Dylan is going to see. What if he stops being friends with me? Will he freak out? What if he tells others? A knock on the door brings me out of my thoughts.

"Sophia? Are you ready yet?" Dylan asks through the door.

This is happening, this is really happening. I take a deep breath. I open the bathroom door and walk out. I stand there with my arms behind me. Dylan looks me up and down.

"You look nice in that!" He compliments.

"But maybe put your arms at your side." He says pulling my arms to my side.

He holds my arms out and they were flipped upwards. My scars we on full display. I start to tear up, and I'm scared. He is examining them for a long time which makes me more nervous. He finally lets go of my arms and holds my hands. He looks back at me and smiles. He hasn't given any reaction yet.

"It's okay you don't need to hide it, I already knew." He says.

I am super confused. How did he know?

"What?" I ask.

"I saw your wrists when your bracelets fell down before. It's okay if you didn't tell me. It is very serious." He says.

"There's something else too. I'm anorexic but the boys are helping me get better." I tell him.

"I could tell. You were extremely skinny when I first meet you. Now you look better than before." He sighs.

"Also I know you get spanked because I heard you and Jack g awhile ago after a show. It's okay though you're a cool person and you like to have fun. Even if you get in trouble for it." He adds.

I laugh a bit and then there was a moment of silence.

"So you're not going to tell, or get freaked out, or stop being friends with me?" I ask scared for his answer.

Dylan looks shocked.

"Never! I would never do that to you. You are so kind, sweet, and amazing! And we're not friends, we are BFFFL." He says laughs.

I giggle and hug him.

"Thank you!" I say.

"No problem!" Dylan says back.
