The Zoo

Previously: Nash drives us 20 more minutes until we arrive at.....

The Zoo!!!

We all pile out of the van and are close to the entrance. We get in the small line for our tickets and we are in the zoo.

"So you picked a zoo for our last day here?" I ask them.

"Yep! So let's go!" Aaron says excited, and Taylor pulls me along with the boys.

We look at the lions, tigers, panther, hippos, rhinos, and zebras. We are crossing a bridge from that section of the zoo to the other. The bridge goes over the giraffe area. We stop at the bridge to watch the giraffes that were a few feet from the bridge. Then Jack J grabs my hands and pulls these little food pellets in them, pulling my arm out so my hand was over the bridge. I turn my face back at the smiling boys.

"What are yo-" I was cut off my a warm gust of air on my hand.

I turn and gasp making the boys laugh at me and Matt must be recording me cause he has his phone camera pointed at me. It is a giraffe eating the food out of my hands. I am a little nervous but then get used to it. I use my other hand to pet the giraffe's head. Soon the giraffe finishes the pellets and goes onto a little girl who just came up next to me. I go back to the boys and we walk across the rest of the bridge. They we looking at their phones smiling and laughing. I looked at the confused until Hayes gave into me and showed me his phone screen. It was a video of me feeding giraffe. With me being startled by it then moving on to petting the giraffe while feeding it. Matt had posted it to his Instagram. I jokingly glare at a giggly Matt. Shawn then comes up behind me, picks me up and spins me around. Damn they do that a lot.

"Oh come on! You were adorable and we love you." Shawn says.

"Fine." I say making Shawn smile.

We then look at the penguins and birds section. The boys then drag me into a one at a huge bird cage. I am confused again, a worker handed me stick with seeds covering the other end. We step into the cage and the birds are flying everywhere. Ohhh we are feeding the birds. That makes more sense now. All of a sudden, two birds fly onto my hand eating at the seeds. Then out a no where, pretty blue, and grey bird landed on head. I stay absolutely still and avert my eyes up. Even though I can't really see the bird, but I smile. I then see Cameron take his phone out and I hear a click. I better check Instagram after this. Finally my seeds are gone and no birds come to me except the one won't leave my head. The boys had lost all the seeds on their sticks too. The boys won't do anything to get this bird off my head, they just laugh as I give them death glares. I put my finger up to the bird and the bird stepped up onto it. I then moved my finger to a branch slowly, and the bird went to the branch. I laughed as it flew away a few seconds later.

"I'm naming that one. Peeps. Yea Peeps." I say making my decision.

"You are going to name a bird?" Cameron asked.

"I liked that one. I think he liked my head too, but damn they have sharp claws." I say.

He just chuckles at me. I then go to his Instagram and find out he did post a picture of me. It was my looking up smiling at the bird. I turn my phone to Cameron still chuckling at me. We look at a few more animals then we go to a food court area. The boys get a ton of crap like fries and pizza. I got a bottle of water and I got a grilled chicken sandwich. We all sit down to eat lunch. I am sitting on Nash's lap because I have to sit on someone's lap. I quickly eat my sandwich. Luckily the boys don't think about how I should get a side of fries. I don't because they are sooo fattening. I am just happy eating is over now I had finished my water and the boys had also finished. All of us saw the rest of the animals and left back to the hotel. We drives back and I am sitting in Matt's lap. The boys were talking about what animal they would be. And who would survive the longest.

"What about you Soph?" Matt asks me.

"I would be Peeps." I say.

"Really? The small bird, that you liked?" Aaron laughed.

"I could fly away from all the weirdos in this car though!" I giggle.

Then Matt readjusts his arms around me tightly.

"Well now you can't go anywhere." Matt says smiling.

"Ugh!" I groan.

We all drive the rest of the way back in a comfortable silence. We reached the hotel and all piled out of the car. Finally walking to our rooms and saying goodnight, Hayes and I enter our room. I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth and wash my face. I walk out and Hayes is shirtless. It's okay because he has still not bought a sleep shirt. I tied my hair in a bun and checked on a sleeping Teagan. Then Hayes picks me up placing me on the bed.

"She is fine. You don't need to worry about her as much. She had a dog sitter." Hayes tells me.

"I know but-" I start.

"Nope, don't say anymore. You care so much about everyone else you need to help yourself out." He sternly says.

"I do just-" I was again get off.

"Shhh don't even try to fight back." He laughs.

Hayes jumps into bed, pulling us under the covers. I lay there and Hayes cuddles with me. I feel like Hayes is a koala bear and I'm the tree.(Zalfie reference there) He is so sweet and loving. We soon fall asleep for the night.

Again another cute chapter to brighten the mood. I am so happy to update andddd... it was a triple update!!! I think I want to try updating on the weekends. Probably one chapter, but you know school slows you down a bit. I also was just at the zoo and got to feed the giraffes and birds. Which is fun, so if there is a zoo near you to do that, you should. Byeeee!
