The Boys Know

The boys and I are walking on the sidewalk back to the bus. The boys are in front of Hayes and I. He has his arm around my waist. The boys are talking about what they did at the carnival.

"What did you do, Sophia?" Shawn asks.

I look at Hayes, not knowing if I should say what happened. He just shrugs and looks away.

"Uhh nothing special, just rode a few rides." I say looking away.

"Oh okay, where did you get that necklace from?" Shawn asks.

"Oh, umm..." I mumble trying to come up with something.

"I'm gonna guess she said 'yes' to being Hayes girlfriend." Matt says before I could speak.

The guys laugh and look back at me.

"You knew?" I ask confused

"Yep Hayes told all of us the plan, and since I'm your brother he asked my permission." Shawn said smiling.

I look up at Hayes who is smiling at me.

"Why didn't you tell me they knew?" I ask.

"Because it was cute to see you try and lie to them." He chuckles.

I shake my head at him and he leans down and kisses my cheek.

"Awe!" the boys say simultaneously.

Shawn then walks up in between us, separating us.

"No no no, kissing is not going to happen yet." Shawn says.

I start to giggle because Hayes and I did more than just a kiss in the ferris wheel.

"Why are you laughing?" Shawn asks me.

I shake my head and look at Hayes. He knows what I'm laughing about.

"Maybe because they already kissed." Cameron speaks up.

The boys all awe. Except Shawn, just glares at me and Hayes.

"Really?" Shawn asks.

"Uhhh maybe." I say still giggling.

"It wasn't just a kiss, they were making out!" Cameron yells, making all the rest of the boys laugh.

"Hayes!" Shawn yells and Hayes starts to run.

Shawn takes and step in Hayes's direction, but I stop him.

"Shawn, don't chase him. I was part of it too, so let it go." I says.

"Fine...." He starts.

"I'll chase you!" He finishes and I run.

Shawn chases after me and I reach the bus. I sprint onto the bus and run to the back of the bus. Shawn is right behind me and I am stuck. He pushes me onto the couch and starts to tickle me. The rest of the boys make it on the bus and see Shawn and me. Shawn eventually stops and gets ready for bed.I change into black leggings and a navy blue plain tee-shirt. I lay down on the couch and Teagan crawls up onto the couch. She nuzzles into my chest and I let my eyes close. I then feel someone put a blanket and me and come under the blanket. They wrap their arms around me. I can smell him and I know it is Hayes. I fall asleep soundly, happy with today.
