Yancey's POV

Wala sa sariling natutop ko ang bibig ko dahil sa nalamang impormasyon.

K-Kaibigan ng papa ni AJ ang isa at ang isa naman— "L-Lee? At kapatid ng papa ni AJ? Ibig sabihin ay tita iyon ni AJ?"

"Impossible! I never heard of her nor see her." Naguguluhang sagot ni AJ.

"Soo Young is the younger sister of your father." Napanganga ako sa sagot ni Mike habang nagkatinginan naman sila AJ at Jon.

Gano'n ba talaga kasama ang papa ni AJ? Kahit sa sarili niyang kapatid?

"Sigurado ba ang impormasyon na 'yan?" Tanong ni Jon.

Tumango si Mike. "Jean was the personal doctor of Soo Young but after few years, ni-report ng pamilya niya na missing ito. Michael said na bumalik na si Soo Young sa Korea kaya hindi na raw niya nakakausap o nakita si Jean."

"Maco-confirm din natin 'yan... Kay Michael mismo."

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko sa sinabi ni Jon. "P-Paano?" Ewan ko ba, pero bigla akong kinabahan sa sinabi niya.

AJ's POV

As promised, Yancey and I went back to her house.

Kung ako lang ang tatanungin, ayoko nang balikan ang babaeng sumira sa buhay ko!

But I made a promise to Yancey. So here we are, trying to be extra careful so no one could see us. I'm not dropping the possibility that there might be men who are waiting for us.

Yancey was in front of the door when I stopped her.

"Ako na'ng mauuna." I insisted. But she didn't move a bit. I frowned. "Problem?"

"Ang pintuan, A-AJ... Hindi nakalapat ang pintu—"

I did not wait for her to finish her words. I immediately pulled her and grabbed my gun. "Prepare yourself." I whispered as I gave her my spare gun.

She stayed behind my back as I slowly opened the door.

My eyes widened with shock and I froze in the moment.

My eyes were glued to the woman lying on the floor. She's covered with blood... Lots of blood.

"Aling Carol!" Yancey shrieked as she ran towards the woman. She shook the body as if hoping to wake her up.

There's a part of me that wanted to hug her. But there's a part of me that wanted to mock her for what she did to me.

Before I could realize, my eyes already shed tears without my control. Damn!

Yancey cried. "Patay na siya, AJ! Kasalanan ko 'to! Kasalanan ko 'to!"
