Chapter 25: MICHAEL

MICHAEL'S POV

My life is full of anger, hatred, pain and agony. It all started the day I was born.

Yes, when I was born.

Because if I was not born into this fucking world, I will not experience this kind of hell!

My life is nothing but a living hell.

My parents were both half-Filipino and half-Korean but they decided to live in Korea. Still, my father wants us to grow with the knowledge of Filipino's culture and language. People thought were lucky... That were one happy family. But they're all wrong.

I was ten when I did my first crime.

I was in the middle of sleep when I heard weird sounds downstairs. So I decided to check it.

I almost reached the end of the stairs when I heard my mom giggled.

I sighed. Not again!

I sadly looked into my mom. Nakasandal siya sa pinto habang tuwang-tuwa sa paghalik ng lalaki sa kanyang leeg, na parang nakikiliti.

It wasn't new to me that the man isn't my dad. Lagi namang gano'n. I always caught her doing something with different man each night. And she's not afraid to be caught at all. She's confident that my father will never catch her. Poor dad!

I was about to turn my back when I heard the loud and angry voice of my mom. Napapikit ako ng mata sa kaba before I decided to face her.

"Didn't I tell you na 'wag kang lalabas ng kwarto?!" My mom shouted.

I bit my lips para itago ang kaba. Whenever she's out of her mood, sinasaktan niya 'ko, physically and emotionally. She's always mad at me at para sa kaniya ay wala akong ginagawang tama. And I know the reason behind is because I found out her dirty little secret.

Pasimple ko silang sinulyapan habang nakakuyom ang palad.

"It's fine, baby. We can continue this in your room." Lambing ng lalaki kay mom while licking her ears.

Para namang biglang nawala ang galit ni mom sa 'kin at pinagtuunan na lang ng pansin ang lalaki saka ito hinalikan.

Napapikit ako ng mariin sa nakita. Why?! Bakit nagawa 'to ni Mom kay Dad?! We both know that dad loves her so much! I can't believe she's repaying him like this! And I couldn't believe myself for not doing anything since the day I caught her!

Maybe I was really coward. Or maybe it's because of my youth. I didn't have the guts to tell my dad how bitchy my mom is. She told me she'll kill my sister and my father if I do so. And what could I do? I was just a kid! My mind and emotions were manipulated by a witch!

A familiar voice made us shiver.

"You, slut!"

Dad! I felt the tension and I was glued on where I was standing. I wan to move but my body refused to.

Mom was shocked, too. We thought Dad was still on a business trip and will not be able to come home.

Dad punched the man furiously. Malaking tao ang Dad ko at hindi nagawa ng lover ni Mom na gumanti. Napahiga ito sa sahig at napaungol sa sakit. "You deserve more than that, asshole!" Dad shouted in anger.

Mom cried and came hurriedly to the man. "He's just a business partner, Marco! Why did you hit him?!"

My dad smirked. "Business partner, huh? And what kind of business are you two up to?"

Mom did not answer. Dad called his bodyguards and ordered to brought the man out of the house.

Nagmakaawa si Mom. "Sa'n mo siya dadalhin?! Maniwala ka, Babe! He's not my lover! Believe me, please!" But she only received a slap on the face.
