His Friend

Chapter 5

"Shhh, shut up!" I whisper shout.
"Sorry," Lawrence says.
"Alison! It's been twenty years! When's Zach gonna get here?" Freddy whispers.
"When Summer gets here with Tamika!" I whisper.

We were currently hiding behind a wall, preparing for our battle. "Matthew! Do you have the bucket of water?" I ask. Matthew gives me a thumbs up, and turns to Mr. Finn. "Sir, you have the feathers?" He whispers. Mr. Finn nods. "Oh, guys this is so exciting! I can't wait!" He calls out.
"Shhhhh!"
"Sorry."
"Here they come!" Says Freddy.
Someone opens the door, and Mr. Finn moves to throw the feathers, but trips and drops them on me instead! Matthew tosses the bucket of water, but "accidentally" pours it on Freddy. "Dude!" He says.
"What's going on here?" Asks a familiar voice. Oh no...
"Principal Mullins! What are you doing here!?" Asks Mr. Finn, fear written in his eyes. "Well, I came to Mrs. Fisher, but apparently she isn't here. Mr. Finn, I thought you were teaching art," she says.
"And, what is going on here?!" She added. I spit out two feathers, and smile sheepishly. I slowly raise my hand, and she eyes me completely shocked. "Alison Marie Jenson!? You did this!?" She says. I clear my throat, "okay, 1) Can we stop with the middle names? 2) yes, I did this, and 3) I really like your necklace!" I complement.

I try to sidetrack her, but she ignores my attempt.  "In my office! Now!" She says, pointing out the door. I give her my best Pokerface. "And Mr. Huerto! Why are you all wet?" She asks. He slowly shrugged, and said, "holidays?"
She waved it off, and took me to her office.

Later.

"Alison, what happened!?" Tamika asks. I sigh, "I got detention. She said, 'having a pile of feathers on you' is against school rules."  They all looked confused. I shrug. "But, we were supposed to rehearse today! Now we can't, because of you!" Summer says. I give her my best smile, and sarcastically say, "I know! It's making me feel worse!"

"Wait. Why were you covered in feathers in the first place?" Tamika asks. "Y-yea, Alison! Why were you covered in feather?" Freddy asks.
Oh Freddy, you have no idea what I'm about to say.
"Freddy was going to play a prank on you, Tamika, so then he "accidentally" dropped feathers on me!" I lied. Freddy just stared at me with wide eyes. He wagged a finger at me, "you're good."

After that, we carried on our days. That is, until detention. Why him?

So... You may have noticed that I changed Freddy's last name. I was watching School of Rock on Saturday, and so Freddy's last name was revealed as Huerto not jones. So, I went with it. Sorry, please forgive me if your brain was confused. -Sage
