Exams had finally started, and everyone was putting their best effort into it. Except one person. This was the first time that Alison didn't care about passing or not. Her mind was wrapped around Freddy's actions. She sighed, and placed her pencil on her desk at home. She stretched, and sighed in relief as she heard a few bones crack. She stared at her clock.
1:30am.

Alison groaned, and grabbed her pencil again, and started working on her mountain of homework. An hour had passsed when she got a text message. Her phone dinged, and she looked at it. She opened the messenger app on her iPhone, and stared at the text.

Freddy: Meet me outside. Now.

She knew she couldn't. It was two in the morning and her window was barred. She looked around, and her eyes landed on the bathroom window. It was just above the shower. She frowned, and grabbed her phone. She climbed onto the toilet and slid through the rectangular window, and she landed on the soft grass. She looked around, and noticed a silhouette of a boy.
She walked up to him, but refused to meet his eyes. "Hey," he said. She nodded as a response, but he didn't take it. "Alison. Look at me," he said softly. He gently grabbed her chin, and made her look up. "What?" She asked. Her hazel eyes met his green ones. His eyes showed pity and regret. "What?" She said more forceful. When he didn't answer, she pushed his hand away, and glared at him. She turned away, and started walking away. But where would she go? She was so stupid to actually think she could just sneak out and get back in.
"Alison."
There it was. There was his soft voice again, reaching out to her. His tone was soft, but she knew his mood was the opposite.
She turned around. "What?"
Freddy walked up to Alison, and took her hands in his, and kissed them gently. "I'm sorry. I really am, I promise," he said. Alison wasn't sure if she was to believe him, but went along with it. "My parents will beat the crap out of me when they find out I left with you," she said. Freddy chuckled, and smiled. "Not if they don't find out," he said. He took out a piece of paper, and handed it to her. She looked at it confused, and she took it when she got the idea. She started scribbling down a note, and handed it to Freddy. They both walked to the barred window, and Freddy opened it slightly.

He slipped the note in carefully, and shut the window. He turned to Alison, only to find that she had already started her walk back to where she belonged. Freddy grinned, and ran after her and intertwined their hands together.

When they got home,  Freddy made popcorn and him and Alison watched a movie. Alison snuggled into Freddy's arm, and he chuckled. They both watched the movie The Conjuring 2. A commercial came on, and Alison couldn't help but sing as well.  (Play song? Lol)
"Wise men say, only fools rush in...but I can't help falling in love with you," she looked up at Freddy. Freddy blushed, and sang his part. "Oh shall I stay? Would it be a sin? Oh if I can't help falling in love with you..."
they both started singing together, their voices forming a perfect melody.
"Like a river flows surly to the sea, darling so it goes. Something's are meant to be... take my hand. Take my whole life too. Oh for I can't help falling in love with you..."
Alison fell asleep as Freddy sang softly to her. He was glad to have his frie- I mean, girlfriend back safely in his arms.

"For I can't help falling in love with you...."
