Jack's POV
Mark and I walked into PAX hand in hand and we both had a huge smile on our faces. As we walked through the building, we saw so many people staring at us. Most of them write jumping up and down and squealing. We waved at them and they squealed even more. We laughed and made our way to the stage for our panel.
"You guys still have half an hour before the panel starts. Why don't you go have fun before hand?" One of the staff in charge of the panel had told us.
We nodded and walked away from the stage, looking for something to do.
"Mark, Mark, Mark!"
I started pulling on Mark's arm, trying to get his attention. Then I heard him chuckle.
"Yes Jackaboy?"
"Can we go get some cookies? There's a stand over there selling them."
I pointed to the stand that was selling cookies, but Mark didn't seem so sure.
"I don't know Jack. Do you really think you should be eating cookies right before the panel?"
"Pleeeaaase Markimoo?"
He chuckled and walked me to the stand, holding my hand tighter.
"Alright Jack, you can have ONE cookie."
I smiled at him and gave him a big hug. He hugged back tightly. He walked to the stand and bought me my cookie. He handed it to me and I took a bite. It was so delicious. He grabbed my hand again and we walked around looking for something to do while I nibbled my cookie.
"Jack, what's taking you so long to eat your cookie?"
"I wanted to savor it. It's so good and it's the only one I get."
"I'll get you another one later Jack, I promise. I just didn't want you to eat too many before the panel and get sick."
He kissed the top of my head and I blushed and smiled. I finished my cookie and we looked for something to do.
"Hey Jack, how about that?"
He pointed to one of dance machines that you can dance with someone. (You know what I'm talking about right?)
"I'd love to Mark! Let's do it."
We walked up to the machine and Mark picked a song.
"Be prepared to lose Jack," Mark said with a smirk.
"Hey, I actually happen to be a good dancer, thank you. I think it's you who should prepare to lose."
It started up and we began to play.
~15 minutes later~
"Yes, I won!" I jumped up and down knowing I had beat Mark.
"I'm not even mad, you've got some great moves."
"Thank you Mark."
We had a huge audience watching us at this point.
"We should probably head back to the stage for our panel."
I heard everyone in the crowd get upset, and I slightly did too.
He grabbed my hand and we made our way to the stage to set up for our panel.
~10 minutes later~
The staff was putting the microphones on our shirts. Mark, Bob, Wade, and I were all ready for our panel, and I can't wait. We all walk on stage and get it started.
~1 hour later~
Everyone was having a great time at the panel. It was almost over, but the one thing I was waiting for popped up on the screen, but no one else noticed except me. I looked at Bob and he understood. Then he spoke up.
"So before leave, we kind of have a tradition here at PAX. It's happened every year we've been here, but it hasn't happened yet this year. Does anyone have a question? Like, life changing question?"
"Bob, read the next question," I say quietly but loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Hey Jack, do you have a proposal speech prepared for Mark ❤❤❤?"
I started to stutter, but walk closer to Mark.
"Does anyone have a question? A 'question'?" Bob says as I'm walking by him, making the motion of opening a box.
"Oh dear heart throb of YouTube," I say as I got on one knee.
I look out into the crowd and holler, "You proud of me mom?!" Then I reach into my pocket and turn back to Mark.
"Why are you crying?" Mark asks me.
"Will you please share your subscribers with me for the rest of your life?"
I open the box in my hand and present it to him. I hear everyone laugh, but they don't know I'm actually being serious. I saw Mark cover his mouth with hands and could see that he was starting to cry. He shook his head yes, held out his hand, and I put the ring on his finger. I stood up and we both hugged each other really tightly. We heard the crowd go awe, and that's when we knew that they knew I was being serious. Bob and Wade smiled at us and gave us a thumbs up. After a while, we finally let go. I yell out to the crowd, "He said yes!"and they all cheered.
"Thank you guys for coming out. We hope to see a lot of you guys again next year." Wade called out to the crowd. As Wade and Bob began to walk off stage, Mark spoke up.
"And as always..." he grabs my hand and pulls me close to him. What is he doing?
"We will see YOU, at the next panel."
He then dips me as if we had been dancing and kisses me. At first I was surprised, but then I kissed him back. He lets me back up and waves at the crowd, who's going absolutely insane.
"Buh-bye!"
Mark and I walk off the stage, hand in hand, smiling like crazy.
When we got out of everyone's sight, we laughed.
"I guess we gave the crowd what they wanted." I said, chuckling.
"Yeah, they went crazy! And I think it made it better that I caught you off guard."
We laughed as we walked out the doors, walking to our cab. Mark opens the door for me and I get in. Mark gets in next to me, closes the door, and tells the driver where to go. I laid my head on Mark's shoulder.
"I love you Mark."
"I love you too Jack."
He kissed my forehead, and I fell asleep.
A/N Another chapter! I've been working on it for a while actually. I've had this idea in my head since like four or five chapters back. I know it took me a while to update, and I'm sorry. I'm writing this book and another, and I try to alternate updating them. Anyway, I hope you guys liked this chapter. Stay awesome everyone ☺
