Ethan had barely opened his eyes when Travis rushed to cover them.

"No! I have to give you a kiss. Then you can look at me."
"I wasn't going t—"

"That's a bit conceited, don't you think?"

Travis kissed Ethan on the forehead and moved back into his arms.

"Travis, why are you hugging me?"
"Because you're my boyfriend. It's a right of passage."
"What are you hiding?"
"Nothing, really! I swear, it's—"

Ethan, being both larger and stronger than Travis, gently pushed him out of the embrace. Spots of pink and purple lines the area around his neck, and his chest wasn't much better.

"Did I do that to you?"
"In it is the process of doing me."
"Shit, Travis, I'm sor—"
"Eh, it's fine. I couldn't care less, really. If it marks that I'm yours, it doesn't matter."
