Travis told Ethan he had made up his mind every day.
Every day, Ethan told him to think on it more.
One sunny Wednesday morning, he stopped."I still want to take up the job."
"Talked to your moms?"
"Cool with it."
"Talked with the guy you're staying with?"
"He said I could fly down any time."
"Talked to me about it?"
"Already done."
"Talked to NASA?"
"They said I can start on Monday."Ethan looked at Travis and kissed him on the cheek.
"I think I'm past the stage of denial."
"..."
"I think I'm ready for the next step."
"You're ready for long distance?"
"We'll still see each other on holidays and such. And Skype every day. And text and stuff."
"I know. I thought you wouldn't go through."Ethan took Travis's hand.
"If it's what you want, it's what I want."

"Have you bought plane tickets yet?"
"Tickets?"
"You have to fly out to California and I have to fly out to Florida."
"I can drive to California, you know."
"I know, but you won't need to drive around Cali anyways. Do you know how hard it would be to find parking? Plus, it would be dangerous on your motorcycle."
"Yeah, yeah. I have a few airlines and their prices up on my computer."Travis wiggled his eyebrows.
"Do any of them have tickets that cost $7.49?"

WE'RE ALMOST TO THE LAST CHAPTER AND IM BRINGING BACK THE $7.49 THING
on another note: I'm thinking about writing a book about a teenage waiter at a fancy restaurant, a dog walker, or a something-to-do-with-magic book
