Chapter 77~Bad day

Amy Pov

It's Monday and I woke up beyond late, Ricky's still asleep and I wake him up before rushing to the bathroom to get ready.

I quickly get ready and rush to the kids room waking them up and preparing their lunches.

Before I can even tell Ricky kissed me and is out the door. Well fuck me backwards!

I give moose his food and his water, and pack up the car with bags and everything else.

"Let's go!!!" I yell running into the house and the kids follow me out.

I drop John off, then Delilah and Mason, and when you thought it couldn't get worse I got pulled over.

A speeding ticket of $150..you gotta be kidding me.

I'm rushing to class and as soon as I rush in a student bumps into me and sends coffee all over me.

"Sorry Mrs.Underwood." The kid says before running off. "Mrs.Underwood my office now!" The principle yells.

"This is your third time being late this year!" He says and I sigh. "I know sir, it's just it's a little hectic in the morning with three kids and a dog." I say smiling softly and he just looks at me coldly.

"I don't care about your personal life Mrs.Underwood! Just do your job and that's final get to your class that's been waiting for you." He says and I leave.

I get to class and all my students look at me smiling. "Turn to page 114." I say my voice shaky. "Ms. are you alright?" Elizabeth the student in the front asks.

"I'm fine, just read the text silently." I say and they nod looking at their books.

'Hey sorry baby but, I gotta have dinner with a business partner, which means your gonna have to drop Mason off at soccer, Delilah at band, and John at his marching band practise. I'm sorry and love you lots-Ricky'

And if I thought this day couldn't get any worse...it just did.

I finish my classes for the day, and its starts raining really hard, and since I forgot my umbrella I ended up getting to the car soaked.

"Well this day officially sucks!" I yell to myself leaning my head against my steering wheel. There's a tap on the window and it's the principle.

"I'm sorry Mrs.Underwood but your position has been terminated. Which I'm sorry to say but you've been fired." He says and I shut my eyes just hoping this is one big nightmare.

I walk back in and pack all my stuff up, before getting to the car and just crying.

I get home and I decide to just take a shower, as I'm showering I slip and fall hurting my arm and most likely bruising it.

I come out from the shower and prepare dinner so when the kids get home they eat and we leave.

I pick the kids up and they're very happy unlike me.

We eat dinner and I drop them off at all their practises.

As I'm cleaning up there's a crack in the plate and I cut my hand. I wrap it up and just continue, I'm just numb at this point.

"You need a walk don't ya?" I ask moose who's sitting at the door sadly. He sits up and starts wagging his tail at me.

"Cmon boy, I'll take you." I say grabbing his leash.

I take him for a walk and find Ricky at a restaurant and this does not look like a business meeting.

He's with some girl and they're laughing and drinking wine. I just wipe a tear that somehow fell and I continue to walk home with moose.

I pick the kids up and they end up going to bed and I just lay in bed crying lowly.

This day has just been so terrible, and on days like this you need someone you love to just hold you and tell you it's all right it's all gonna be okay. But Ricky's out on some date, and I'm over here crying my eyes out after having a day from hell.

I feel moose on the bed and he shimmies himself under the covers and into my arms. He turns his head back and starts licking all my dried tears, along with the ones that are still falling.

"Thanks moose." I say rubbing his belly and hugging him, as he gladly accepts. I fall asleep with moose in my arms.

Ricky Pov

"Anyways thank you Mr.Underwood, you will be hearing from us soon. But I should be going, my daughters favourite English teacher got fired today and she's a little distraught." Rachel says and I narrow my eyes.

"Hmm what was her name?" I ask standing up and we walk to the parking lot. "Huh kinda ironic, her name was Mrs.Underwood. Anyways have a nice night, it was very nice meeting you goodnight." She says.

Poor Amy, she probably had the worst day ever and I wasn't even by her side. I get home and find her hugging moose in bed, her hand wrapped in gauze, coffee stained clothes on the side of the room, her arm bruised, and tear stains on her face.

Moose wakes up and I put my finger to my lips and he jumps out of bed, and I smile at him throwing the treat in my pocket as he walks off.

I get into my boxers and lay down beside her wrapping her in my arms she accepts and clings onto me sobbing.

"How bad was your day?" I whisper in her ear. "Terrible." She sobs and I kiss her cheek. "Shh, just sleep baby we'll talk in the morning." She sighs and hugs me closer.

I'm gonna stay home with her tomorrow, she obviously needs some time.

John Pov
(Phone call between him and Callie)

Callie:John?

John:Yes Cal?

Callie:Do you love me?*giggles*

John:Yes, I love you Cal. To the moon and back*laughs*

Callie:Aww I love you too!*says in awe*

John:Callie I gotta go Mason just walked in.

Callie:Alright bye babe I'll see you at school.

John:Bye babes

"Mason you okay?" I ask as he walks into my room with his teddy bear.

"I had a bad dream." He says with his lips pouty.

"Ah I see. Well c'mere and watch some good ol' midnight tv with your brother." I say patting the bed and he jumps in next to me.

"Thanks John." He says laying in my bed. "What are brothers for am I right?" I say and we both laugh lowly.

"Between me and you, I have a half day at school. How about I pick you up early and me and Callie take you to the park with mike?" I ask and he smiles.

"But what about mom?" He asks and I laugh. "Mason there's some things you don't tell your parents...and this is one of them." I say laughing and he smiles.

"Deal?" I ask sticking out my pinky. "Deal." He says locking his pinky with mine.

Kinda a short chapter but continuation comes out on Friday. Sorry bout the late update but you know shit happens. Okz yeah peace.
