"Paladins, to your lions!" Allura yelled, running into the room.

"What? What's going on?" Pidge sat up, their eyes tearing away from a blaster gun they were fiddling with.

"Somethings entering our atmosphere and it's coming fast!" She exclaimed. She looked worried. Maybe even sick.

"You heard her." Shiro announced, standing up. "Let's go take care of this."

The others mumbled their agreement, and scrambled out of the room, preparing themselves for battle.

The moment they were all outside, there was a large crash. Something that looked very much like smoke rose from just behind a hill.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

"Oww..." I groaned, sitting up in my chair. My hands were still in the handles that controlled the ship. They were bloody. Full of scars, torn skin, blood, and grime.

"I think I broke something..." I mumbled horsely.

I felt the metal groan, as if the ship was about to beak down.

I groaned, and attempted to reach for the glowing controls. I flinched, and pulled back.

"Health status..." I uttered weakly.

"You have three broken ribs," A metallic sounding voice came from my ear. "You have bruises, almost everywhere, a dislocated foot and shoulder, and a mild concussion."

"Just what I need right now..." My voice was an octave higher than usual, and raspy.

"Look above. Robots." The voice quickly changed the subject.

But when I looked up, I saw that she was right. Five multicoloured–what were they, tigers?–robots flew above, and began circling above the ship.

I guessed that I was an unwanted and unexpected visitor. Heh heh.

Third P.O.V

"It looks like a Galra ship!" Pidge's voice echoed through the comm., their voice slightly fearful.

"I think it is." Keith said, sounding slightly annoyed.

Lance whistled. "What do you think it's doing here all by itself?"

"I'd prefer not to find out. Let's just blast it and head back." Hunk chuckled nervously.

"No. We don't attack unless it attacks." Shiro said, furrowing his eyebrows.

"It's Galra!" Lance exclaimed. "They're our enemy!"

"Then why would the ship crash? They're expert pilots." Pidge pointed out.

Lance fell silent.

"I'm checking it out." Keith announced after a moment.

"No! Keith, it could be–" Hunk began.

"Dangerous? Please. Anyone in that ship is most likely dead, anyways." He responded.

"We're all going down. As a team. Together." Shiro clarified.

Hunk grumbled under his breath, but ascended with the rest of the team.

The lions landed, making loud metallic thuds. Their heads lowered, allowing their Paladins to exit, and sat down almost exactly like cats would.

Shiro led the group over, and was able to (with the help of Hunk) pry the large metal entrance open. The door creaked and rattled, making the small fighting jet shudder.

Inside, small lights blinked, and buttons glowed. A chair sat in the very front, and they all saw that it was weighed down by something.

"Who are you?" Shiro called.

"It's obvious, they're Galra. Let's blast 'em!" Lance hefted his blaster gun thing.(???)

"Shut up, Lance." Keith was tempted to thwack him.

"Let's come to a happy middle where you're both quiet." Pidge piped up, earning glares from the red and blue Paladins. Pidge shrugged, pasting an innocent smile on their face.

"Uh, Shiro?" Hunk asked nervously, bringing the three out of their own little world. They turned to see the black paladin striding forwards, towards the chair.

"Hey, Shiro, wait." Pidge said, trying to move forwards. Hunk grabbed their arm, and shook his head. Pidge looked back helplessly.

They heard Shiro make a small mumble of surprise, and crouch down beside the chair.

He then seemed to wrap his arms around someone, and lift them, almost effortlessly. I mean, come on, it's Shiro.

To their astonishment, he had a girl in his arms, trembling. Her eyes were heavily lidded, just slits, but they flashed in the provided light of the windows.

"We should get her to a healing pod." Shiro stated.

They all nodded in agreement, and hurried off back to the palace.
