I stood next to (B/n), my arms folded. My weight was placed fully onto my left leg, making me lean a little. He mirrored my stance almost perfectly.

"You should have all stuck together." Allura ranted. "Especially when someone new shows up. And you just let (Y/n) go alone with him!"

The Paladins all seemed to sweatdrop, except for Shiro because Shiro was in one of the healing pods. Nunarae was monitoring for us.

We'd explained to both Allura and Coran at least five times that this 'strange character' was actually my brother, but it turns out that they apparently have selective hearing.

"They let me go because maybe they thought I could hold my own." I said coldly, attempting a new approach.

Bro nodded. "I can agree with that statement."

"Who invited you to the conversation?" Lance asked. It was clear that he didn't seem to like (B/n), though I didn't know why.

"The conversation is about me, so I figured that is have rights to barge in." (B/n) hissed. I reached out and squeezed his shoulder, sending him a silent message to hold his tongue.

"Well, maybe you should just shut your quiznak and let the professionals decide what to do with you." Lance said hotly.

Keith, who was leaning against the wall, almost burst out choking on his own breath. Hunk and Pidge, who were lined up beside Lance, stared at him as if he grew four heads. Allura and Coran looked a little confused on how to either stop the argument or on how to continue, as Lance was taking their side.

Before my brother could react, I transformed into a dragon within seconds. My neck was long enough for my head to reach Lance, my nose almost poking at his chest. I glared at him, right in the eyes. Within a few moments of processing what had just happened, everyone flung themselves away from me, except for bro, and Keith was already against the wall.

I hissed, my spine rattling as a small threat. My tail swished in an agitated manor. I quickly transformed back, right in the spot beside (B/n) I had been before.

"Don't insult my brother. Especially in front of me." I growled. (B/n) nudged my arm as a small thank you.

"You barely know him! You've been gone for like, what, five years?" Pidge tried to reason.

There was a long silence, I then turned to my brother, my arms folded.

"What's my favourite food?" He asked suddenly.

"Anything mint." I declared.

"Best friend?"

"You have friends?"

"Touché. Favourite music?" He grinned.

"It changes regularly, but you seem to have some sort of pattern to it. Punk rock now, yeah?"

"Correct." He said casually. "How many medals have I earned?"

"Fifteen. Sixteen if you include the one you'll get for surviving Galra imprisonment."

"Oh, yeah. Forgot about that one." He chuckled. "What's my favourite weapon?"

"This." Without second thought, I reached for my right ear, pulling out something like a small circle carved out of wood.

"Wait, we scanned you a little while back. How did we not pick that up on the x-rays?" Keith asked.

"Protective enchantments." I said bluntly, and pressed the circle int between two of my fingers.

It suddenly enlarged into a sharp, curved greenish brown wooden dagger. I passed it to my brother, whose eyes were wide with surprise. He took it and examined it, his hands shaking a little.

"I made it for emergencies. It's clear that you don't have your old one." I said gently. "I kept it with me in case... In case you came..." My voice wavered.

There was a silence that erupted throughout the room. They all looked unsure about the gesture I'd made.

(B/n) looked up at me, and slowly smiled from ear to ear.

"You don't know how happy I am right now."
