After a few hours, constellations became more and more familiar as we whisked through the galaxy.

It was quiet, but tension weighed down on us like a pile of bricks.

My thoughts kept circling back to the Paladins. I hoped that they were alright. Well, of course they were okay. They were filled with the dumbest of luck in the history of dumb luck.

Still, anyone would worry.

When we entered our solar system and passed the farthest planet, the tension dissolved.

"WELCOME HOME." A voice bellowed through my earpiece, and I nearly crashed us into an asteroid. That, my friends, would've been a bad on my part.

That voice was from a god, by the way. None other than Nesanke's.

My brother let out a small yelp of surprise. I took out my ear piece. Nunarae sighed.

The gods voices could be heard in just our heads within the boundaries of the solar system.

My earpiece was for Nunarae to possess because I often left the system for trade and battle purposes, so she needed something to hold on to.

So, my brother could now hear everything.

And so could I.

Just to clear thing up.

Everything's confusing, I know.

Author is like that. Constant confusion without the faintest idea of what is going on.

*Cough cough* ANYWAYS, I slowed down our speed, and began moving towards the direction of our planet, taking my time now that I knew everything was safe.

We chatted with the gods for awhile, siblings to siblings. We normally did this with our deities.

"And then, and then Alec just–he-he just–" Nesanke said through breathy laughs. "He just ATE the ENTIRE tree branch like it was THE END OF THE WORLD."

(I don't know anymore save me)

"He did WHAT!?" Bro, Nunarae and I yelled at the same time.

"I KNOW, RIGHT?" Nesanke laughed cheerfully.

(B/n) and I shared a glance and shrugged. Alrighty then.

After what felt like years, we descended down to our planet, our village in sight.

The moment we stepped out of our pod, we were soaking.

It was raining.

"Hey, it's raining." (B/n) pointed out, holding out his palm before him to catch the droplets.

"And just WHAT gave it away, brother?" I asked, and he huffed.
