I have a serious question for those in the Phandom down at the end of the chapter pls someone answer thx I wove you all.

"And this is the room I was healed in." I said, giving my brother a tour of the place.

I led him into the room where the healing pods were. He shuddered and wrinkled his nose.

"Really? Ew."

"I know, right?"

"And they just... put you in there?" He asked, looking at me.

"Yep." I sighed. "Where next? Kitchens?"

"Well, I am a little hungry." Bro muttered.

"Oh, you'll hate the food." I exclaimed, raising my hands in the hair and marching out of the room. He laughed and followed after me.

"Why? What's it like?"

"Remember grandpa's jam?" I asked. He paled.

"No." He whispered.

"Worse." I shuddered.

He let out a groan, and I laughed, leading him down the twisting corridors to the kitchens.

"Pidge, I can't hear anything!" Lance hissed.

"Sorry! They're heading to the kitchens." Pidge said, tapping away on their computer, controlling a tiny drone they'd made.

"That's where Hunk is!" Lance exclaimed.

"Guys, are you sure this is a good idea?" Keith asked. He'd been getting cold feet with the teams plan to watch (Y/n) and her brother.

"We don't know if we can trust him yet. We believe that this is the best course of action." Shiro said seriously.

"By spying on them?"

"Look, if you're gonna get cold feet about this, why don't you hang out with them?" Lance said.

Keith mulled it over for a moment. "You know what? Maybe I will."

"What? No, Keith, buddy, I didn't mean–" Lance began.

"No, it's okay. I'll see you guys later." And then Keith walked off like the badass he was.

"What?" Lance asked in a small voice once Keith was out of earshot. "I thought we were buddies!"

"More like rivals." Pidge muttered.

"Same thing!" Lance scoffed.

"No, no it's not." Shiro said, rolling his eyes.

"Well, it is to me." Lance said, outing and folding his arms. He slouched over.

"Stop being so dramatic." Pidge said.

"Says the one who broke into the garrison a gazillion times to find their long lost family!" Lance burst out.m

"Lance." Shiro said archly.

The blue and green paladins glared at each other for a moment.

"I guess I'm just annoyed with Keith's betrayal and all–" Lance began to admit, but was cut off with Pidge's computer beeping.

"Oh, look. They're in the kitchens now."

•-------------------------------------------•

"Oh, hi Hunk!" I waved at him. Bro copied my action.

"O-oh uh, hi (Y/n)! And, uh, (B/n)." Hunk said my brothers name a little coldly. I tensed, but decided not to point it out.

"Yo." (B/n) gave a two fingered salute.

"Getting food?" I asked Hunk.

"Uh, no, actually. Just, uh, heading up to my room!" And with that, Hunk whisked off.

"I don't understand why they hate me!" Bro exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air in exasperation.

"Me neither." I shrugged.

"Likewise." Nunarae put in.
