I was currently holding onto the back of Pidge's chair to make sure not to fall back and kill myself by hitting my head.
We were inside the green lion, after much difficulty. Seriously, do they need that glamorous tunnel to get in? But, we made it anyways.
"You're lucky that you're not with Lance." Pidge said when we'd taken off and I was thrown to the side. "He would've definitely killed you by now."
"I can hear you!" Lance exclaimed,
"Pidge is just being honest." Keith said.
"Guys!" Shiro snapped. "Now is not the time to bicker. Here's the plan. We all sneak inside together, and get all the prisoners out. From there, we'll continue to attack."
"And if they notice us?" Hunk asked nervously.
"We attack early."
"Brilliant." I muttered. "Pidge, the back of the ship is the weakest point. I can get us inside from there."
"You hear that guys?" Pidge asked.
"Nope." Lance announced.
Pidge sighed, and retold my plan, which I appreciated.
The tugging got more intense the closer we got to the ship. Pidge steered us to to the back.
"Get me closer. There should be a window... there." I pointed towards a small porthole window, but it was big enough for even Hunk to fit inside.
"Are you going to break it?" Pidge asked, lowering the lion so we were looking right at the window.
"Somewhat." I said. "Here, let's get out."
The others followed our actions, attaching the lions to the side of the ship, and floating out towards us.
I pulled out my bayard, letting it materialize into the large glowing sword I'd seen it as from back on Ostairia.
I peered through the window, seeing a large purple lit hallway stretching before me, and I sighed in relief, seeing no immediate threat.
I used the edge of the sword as a screwdriver, and unscrewed the window, making it swing open. I slid inside. I could sense the gravity leaving the hallway quickly.
Everyone else came inside after me, and I quickly latched the window shut. I stuffed the screws in my pocket, and gazed down the hallway.
I looked over to Pidge, and they tilted their head at me.
"Okay, this way." I sighed, taking off down the hallway.
"Hey, (Y/n), how do you know about that one window that can get you outside?" Lance asked.
"I had to escape somehow, didn't I?" I muttered, still sour about the incident in the control room.
"But you would've needed an escape pod, right? You couldn't just float through space." Keith said.
"You're such a genius. I'd managed to program a drone and hack into one of the small ships. I steered it over to the window, jumped inside, and flew off. Some soldiers were sent out to recapture me, as they wanted information, and they chased me for a long time. Shot the ship, thought I was dead, left me alone. Then I crash landed on that planet of yours." I explained.
"What sort of information?" Shiro demanded.
"The important kind. The personal kind. The kind that you, nor anyone, deserves to know." I said tartly.
They were all quiet after that remark as I led them through the winding hallways, following the tugging feeling, all the while dodging or knocking out Galra.
I furrowed my eyebrows, this time, feeling the tugging feeling begin to intensify, as if it was coming towards us.
I stopped everyone just at an intersection of corridors, and waited.
"(Y/n), what are you–OW! Pidge, stop doing that!" Lance hissed. Pidge snickered. I glared at them, and they wisely shut up.
Soon, I heard a quiet thump thump thump that got closer along with that tugging feeling.
One, two, three–I launched out of our hiding area, tackling a figure to the ground. They gave out a cry of surprise as we tumbled across the floor together.
Finally, we skidded to a stop, me pinning them down and glaring right into their eyes with intensity.
"You're an idiot." I announced.
"Yeah, yeah..." He muttered. "Get off."
I rolled off of him, and stood up. The paladin's stared at me as if I was insane. I gave them an innocent shrug.
"Good to see you alive." He grumbled, standing up. He couldn't have been more than a few years older than me.
I sighed. "How long have you been calling?" I asked, referring to that tugging feeling.
"Ever since you left, idiot." He said.
"Glad to know that you still love me." I huffed, and he ruffled my hair.
"Wait, what? Who's this guy?" Lance demanded, walking up with his gun lifted.
"My brother, (B/n)." I cocked an eyebrow at him. Lance looked quite stunned.
