I paced the training area in my dragon form, waiting for the first 'enemy' to pop up.
Allura, Shiro and Coran joined us after a few minutes. Allura had agreed to see how I dealt with enemies, and powerful ones at that.
They all sat in the control area, which was above. I looked up at them expectantly, and I saw Keith and Lance crack a smile. I felt my spine rise a little in a bristly way, and I continued to walk around.
I saw Pidge taking notes. Most likely on how I moved, so they could set the difficulty level to the robot things. I flicked my tail, and stretched out my wings.
"Okay, (Y/n), are you ready?" Coran's voice came over some speakers.
"Hell yeah we are." Nunarae murmured.
I bobbed my head.
"We'll put you at training level six–"
"Whoah, we didn't agree on that–" Shiro began, but it was too late. A robot fell from the ceiling with a very big sword. I felt glad that he cared, anyway.
I jumped away, wrinkling my snout. I unsheathed my claws, and we circled each other as I waited for instructions from the goddess in my ear. I wasn't completely helpless in battle, but things went a lot easier when she instructed.
The robot made the first move by running at me.
"Dodge." Nunarae said.
I rolled aside, and stood up behind the robot. Wasting no time, I shot forwards and went at its back. My weight sent us tumbling, but I was able to skid to a stop on my feet.
The robot stood up. I saw that sparks were flying off at where I was able to pierce the metal.
"This is weird," Nunarae said. "I've never helped combat a robot before. I mean when you're in dragon form."
The robot ran at me, and I instinctively rammed my head right into it, making a very painful clanging sound. It stumbled back, and I gave a soft growl. Ouch. That was going to leave a bruise.
"You're an idiot." The goddess pointed out.
I stomped my foot to show her that I honestly didn't care at the moment, and jumped on the robot. I jabbed its chest, and waited there until it stilled.
I snorted a small puff of blue smoke, and moved off of it. I felt my scales puff up in satisfaction as the floor opened up under the bot and it fell through.
"Whoa, wait stop for a minute!" Pidge called, and I looked up at the observatory room. I saw Pidge disappear from the room. I blinked, lowering my wings, and sat down.
I heard the hiss of a sliding door, and turned to see that Pidge appeared in another entrance way, who ran inside with a clip board and some kind of flat looking robot hovering after them.
"Show me your leg." Pidge ordered, and I gave them a look. They sighed. "The front right one."
I tilted my head, and held it out, sheathing my claws once more. Pidge took it and began examining it.
"What on earth is this child doing...?" Nunarae muttered in my ear. I gave a small shrug. The goddess fell silent.
I heard the door his again, and everyone else came inside.
"What's wrong, Pidge?" Hunk asked a little nervously. Shiro walked over and knelt down beside the green paladin.
I felt my heart sink when I saw that the robot was a scanner.
"Oh no..." Nunarae breathed.
Before the goddess could say anything else, I pulled away from Pidge and stepped back, bristling at the floating scanner.
"(Y/n), somethings in there. Let us help." Pidge said, adjusting their glasses.
I shook my head, giving soft growl.
"(Y/n)." Shiro's voice was calm, but harsh. I froze in place. I knew that tone.
I bristled, and pulled my wings closer to my body, and looked down at my right leg. I almost passed out when I saw a soft reddish purple light blinking underneath my (f/c) scales.
"It's a tracker. That's how the Galra came here so easily." Nunarae fretted. I could almost see that she was pacing around. "I suggest cutting it out with your claws–"
I hissed, cutting her off. I'm not cutting myself open to get rid of a tiny little tracker, especially if I didn't know how deep it was in there.
"(Y/n), come back here. We need to see what's wrong." Shiro said in that tone.
I hesitated, but slowly slid back, letting Pidge take a look at my leg again. I felt lucky that my scales were unable to pale, because I basically felt like a ghost.
"What do we do?" Keith asked, sitting beside Pidge to get a better look.
"Maybe it's possible to reprogram it, so we'll be able to track her." Coran suggested. My tail shot out and tripped him, clearly showing that I didn't appreciate the idea.
"It's a good idea, actually." Pidge murmured. "It would be easier to keep control over it other than just shutting it off."
I hissed in frustration. Did nobody hear me?
"Here, lets scan to see if there's anything else." Allura said, moving the robot in front of me.
Before I could run away, there was a loud buzzing sound, a click, and a printing noise.
A picture that looked very much like an x-ray fell from the bot, and Hunk reached out and caught it.
"There's something in her ear." He said. "It looks like an ear piece. Something you use to talk to someone with."
And then I heard Nunarae make a very undignified and very ungoddess like noise that sounded like a dying mule.
I'm pretty sure I made the same noise.
