Omg I haven't updated this in forever. I'm sorry about that. I'll try and write this story more.

Yoichi POV

The dark caved path was cold and the walls were cold and wet. I shivered at the thought of what could be living in these caves. I held my bow close to me as we walked through the maze of caves.

Beside me was Waylon, who looked very tired, having bags under his eyes and yawning every five minutes. His tired eyes scanned the walls and ahead, even behind us. He might be tired but he was still being careful.

"How much longer?" Yu asked Claire, looking like he'd had enough of the caves already just as much as me.

Claire looked at her map and bit her lip. "I've never used this cave system before, it was used by my mother only from what I understand, I found this map and tunnel after she disappeared." She explained.

"Great, so we're probably going in circles? I knew this was a terrible idea." Kimizuki said. "Going into the vampire city is complete suicide." He muttered.

"Any other options to get Krul out of the vampires clutches? Without her were done for." Mika said, crossing his arms.

Shinoa put her arms out to calm everyone. "Hey hey. Now's not the time to argue, we already agreed what we'd do anyway."

"Shinoa is right... but this cave system gives me a weird feeling." Waylon said, moving his hand across the cave wall.

"What do you mean?" Claire asked, glancing back at him.

Waylon shook his head and stared ahead. "Major deja vu or something..." he muttered. "Nothing, let's go."

Through a couple of more minutes of wandering about in the caves, I stop near an opening and stare out into a huge opening. The small cave exit was only enough to crawl through, and looked man made. This had to be the makeshift exit that Claire's mother mentioned in the map.

Claire pushed past all of us and crawled through the space, and called to us from the other side. Shinoa went next, as did the rest of us that followed.

On the other side, I couldn't believe my eyes. There was always rumors about the vampire city, but I'd never imagined it looking like this. A gothic designed city underground.

Buildings spiraled about, twists and turns of the streets made my head dizzy. Claire turned to us and seemed to give us all a once over. "Yup, were lucky we got the right sizes for all of you." She said.

I looked down at our attire. We were all wearing the vampire white uniform. With the recent death of the noble outside of the city, most will be investigating, so now was our chance to act.

As long as we humans don't get too close to a vampire so they don't smell us, we can pass as vampires. And of course not let them notice our eyes weren't red.

Mika motioned for us to follow him. "Come on, we don't want to be on the street for too long. Too many chances to be caught." He said.

Claire nodded. "Once we get to my mansion, all humans aren't allowed to exit it. Me and Mika will be working to find a way close to the queen." She explained.

I nod reluctantly as we all tail behind them, all of our hoods were up to avoid anyone seeing our faces. Even though Mika and Claire were vampires, they were fugitives here, the only thing we got going for them is that not all vampires know their faces.

I watched a few human children walk by us, all looking away from our gazes. So this what it feels like for a vampire when dealing with human slaves? They fear us a lot. I don't like that feeling, makes me feel sick.

Waylon put a hand on my shoulder and gave me a tired smile. "Were almost there, calm down." He said. I nodded at this and pressed forward, not thinking about what's around me, and only what's in front of me.

We walked up a large marbled path that branched off of the main road, and soon were met with a metal gate. Beyond there was a large mansion, if the sun was shining here, it would've been a sight, but with darkness around it, it looked creepy.

Claire smiled. "We're here."

Waylon POV

We entered the grounds silently, the whole city was quiet, with a silence that felt strangely familiar. Every step I took felt familiar along the way through the caves. Lilith had been telling me that my memories were easier to poke about when we were here.

I had to have been here in my past.

But how did I get into the vampire city and out? Was I a blood slave? I remember that lady, named Mary. Who was she exactly?

Claire pushed the doors open and let us all file in, all of us stared at the decor of the main hall. This place looked like something out of a fantasy novel. The outside looked gothic and such, but the inside was very Disney. Well, if Disney had a darker side.

While the others relaxed and began to talk about where they'd be sleeping and such I stared up at the chandelier above the main hall, it's glass reflected the light everywhere across the room. As I'm staring at it, I hear a voice linger in the back of my memory.

"Prince! Let's go upstairs!"

I grab my head, it had started to ring painfully. That voice was of a little girls, no doubt. The pain subsided as a hand was placed on my shoulder, I glance over to see Mitsuba, a worried look on her face.

"Hey, you okay? Need some sleep?" She asked.

I nodded slightly. "Y-Yeah... I'm just tired is all. Claire, where can I sleep?" I asked.

Claire pointed towards a set of stairs that lead downwards. "We're using the servants quarters, that way we won't have the lights on up here for much longer. Just pick any room."

I nodded and pushed past the others, heading downstairs as Lilith pounded back into my head.

"The memories are getting stronger. One final push and I think I'll get it." She said with determination. I nod and head down the hall once I'm done traversing the stairs.

Rooms align the hall, wooden doors, but even for servant quarters, they were well decorated. I keep heading down the hall, until I make it to another staircase. I could see at the end of the stairs was another door.

A sign read: "Authorized Personnel Only"

I tilted my head, a flash of that same sign coming into my head. I remember this place...

I walked down the stairs and grabbed hold of the handle. Another flash of an image, a moving image of a small hand trying to pry open the door, but it being locked.

Was that little hand mine? Was I trying to open this door for some reason? I bit my lips and turned the handle. It wasn't locked this time.

Swallowing hard, I begin to push it open, but just as I do this, I hear Yu yell from above.

"Waylon! Where are you? The others sent me to make sure your not lost!" He yelled, his voice echoed across the halls.

I froze and slowly let the handle go back into place. My memories lied just beyond that door. But I suppose I shouldn't pry too much, what I need to question is why do I remember things in Claire's mansion?

Turning around I walk up the stairs into the servants halls. I glanced back at the door, scanning the sign; then I turned back and called for Yu where I was.

I'll dig up the past later. I need to focus on my task.

(More mysteries pop up for Waylon. What is the full truth of why Waylon used to be at Claire's home? What is the full secret of who he is? Does anyone have answers? Many questions. Nonetheless I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day!) - MnMs171
