I have always loved travelling since young. I started travelling with my family when I was about 7 years old. I had to migrate quite a lot.

I hate crowded airports and immigration stresses me out but I like the idea of being on a smooth-flying aircraft. Of course, one's life is fully in the hands of the pilots. Nonetheless, I love the view of clouds when we're way up there and if I'm lucky, I get to watch sunsets/sunrises onboard. Airplane food is actually quite appetizing (weird, i know) for me. So, I'm not complaining.

When the plane lands at the destination, its an overwhelming feeling. It could be in a foreign country or my own homeland but I feel the same everytime. Pure bliss and joy. Excitement fills me.

You'll get off the plane and deal with either grumpy or nice immigration officers. After getting through, you claim your baggages. Then, you begin to leave the airport. Now that is where my heart flutters. Especially in countries where it is my first time visiting or have not visited in a long period of time. Instantly, I'd feel a sense of belonging or I don't.

The countries I wish to travel to :
- Maldives
- Greece
- New Zealand
- Japan
- South Korea
- Italy
- France
- Norway
- United Kingdom
- Scotland
- Brazil
- Spain
- Bhutan

.....and many more

In each country I've been to, I tend to discover a bit more about myself and the locals there.

For example, I found out how the western world was like when I went to Australia. The food portions were a lot bigger. The people were a lot taller than I was. It was winter at that time and for someone who lives in a VERY tropical country, the weather was amazing. They were having this event, Vivid! Sydney at that time and lights surrounded us. The atmosphere was totally different. I don't know if that was because we were only on vacation and the vibe would be totally different if it were the latter. People were friendlier. The sky was the perfect shade of blue. I don't know why, but I felt at home. I fell in love with Australia. While on the way back to the airport, I stared out the window of our ride and I felt nostalgic. I knew I was gonna miss this country til God knows when. With its somewhat slow-paced environment (???), I had so many realizations. Sydney made an impact on my life. The trip is truly unforgettable.

Beijing was a whole other experience as well. Since I had a darker skin tone from everyone else, I had certain looks from strangers. I didn't feel a sense of belonging in Beijing but I got to see the Great Wall of China which felt like such an achievement. A life task fulfilled. I never even thought I would be able to see it one day but I did. The way people acted were different as well. Whether it were breakfast, lunch or dinner, we were always offered tea. Again, maybe it was just because we had to experience the traditional practices as it was a school trip. For me, I learnt more about Chinese culture during this travel.

Phuket was a buzzing place. Full of tourists and of course, cheap t-shirts. I had learnt a few Thai phrases before arriving at Phuket from Thai movies and tv series' that I've watched. They actually helped me understand the basic words. I was so glad when I was able to greet and say thank you in Thai. I felt proud of myself HAHAHAH. I don't think I've learnt much from my trip here but it's definitely a different approach to how I celebrated my birthday.

I cannot wait for my family's next travel plan. I'd really love to backpack around Europe but I'm still way too young for that so that can wait til I'm of legal age. I'm also very eager to travel around Asia as well. There's so much more sights to see and a variety of traditions/cultures to discover.
